      We have those growing in the garden although the Celandine do get a bit wild when I mow them down :roflol:

        I found a seedling Celandine last year with black leaves, I potted it up for the summer and planted it out last autumn, its come back up but not flowering yet, its slower than the green leaved ones.

                    @Victoria that top picture is glorious - do you really have wild flowers like that?
                    @Palustris - that's weird, I was just discussing with a friend a couple of hours ago about trying to introduce purple toothwort to constrain my willows. He told me they are one of the few parasitic plants you can graft onto the host roots.

                      The Orchid season has got off to a very early start this year. Early Spider orchids along the cliffs at Durlston Country Park.

                          I had another walk along the cliffs at Durlston again today and fond more Early Spiders, all very small, one Early Purple in flower and several Green Winged orchids (purple and pink), again very small and stunted due to the exposed position.

                            Comfrey, greater stichwort, herb Robert, early forget-me-not with some daisies, and an escaped Muscari.
