I don't usually take my camera with me when I'm walking locally, but I always take pix when out on the hills.
These are from the most recent two outings on Wednesday [Ben Venue, Aberfoyle] and last Sunday [Stuchd an Lochain in Glen Lyon]
The Scottish bluebells [harebells - Campanula rotundifolia] are looking particularly good in some areas

The hills are covered in wild thyme as well as heather, so there's a fair old bit of pink and purple around

I can never remember the name of this plant, but it's very common here on our hills in summer

Finally this one made me do a double-take; I initially assumed I was looking at just more bindweed, but it's a really lovely white mallow

Last of the year's orchids, Autumn Ladies Tresses, barely more than 6" high so easily trodden on.

Thankyou, there are over 50 species and many that I will never get to see.
