Giant Orangutan puppets half price! Reduced from £15 to £7.50.

My daughter was with orangutans in Borneo in the summer and I promised her one of these if/when they went down to half price. They also have bright blue Emus and some others that aren't so memorable. Suitable for children of all ages.

I can personally recommend their gladioli bulbs - bought a pack of mixed bulbs a few years ago which had some in and they've come up every year since!

How much are they reduced to?

Only stuff I've seen reduced this week has been 50th birthday banners and packs of Pirate Party invites, both reduced to only 10p each/per pack respectively.

No idea what the current price is.......the bulbs I have are a few years old now and were part of one of their multi packs - containing anemones and dahlias amongst others.

A5 Diaries reduced to 10p each, handy perhaps for keeping growing records?

Unfortunately, the next year beginning on both the same day as this year and also not being a leap year, means these diaries can't be tucked away and re-used until 2025.

Bad news about reduced seeds - the 3 for price of 2 no longer works when they're reduced. I bought 3 packets reduced from £1 to 25p each today and got charged 75p, whereas previously they would have cost 50p.

Polypropylene twine reduced to 35p. This price scans from the barcode without any reduction sticker so it should be that price in all stores.

Lined hide gloves reduced from £7 to £3. They have been removed from the website so should be reduced in any store with remaining stock. They looked far too posh for doing proper mucky gardening in, probably more suited to a little light trug carrying.

Not quite a half price Wilko sale but yesterday I went into the local Wilko's to buy some Vermiculite only to find they didn't have it in stock. I searched high and low but no vermiculite so I asked an assistant who was busy stocking shelves when they would be getting some in. She just stopped what she was doing, went over to a computer to check if there was any in the Stockroom......there wasn't. So, she asked me if I wanted to order it on line and, if I did, it would arrive within two days and that they would phone me to tell me that it had arrived, of course I agreed..........now that's service!!:snork:
