From another site looks like Wilkos are starting the 75% off in some stores.

I also read that their Xmas stuff is 75% off from today, but I've been getting 80% off general Xmas stuff at Tesco's for several days now, and today virtually all of Tesco's Xmas chocs, nuts, biscuits, etc. were reduced by 87.5% (and £2 each or 2 for £3 packs of cheese reduced to 50p) , so didn't bother looking in Wilkos, just Tesco and also got some more Dog and Cat Xmas toys/treat packs reduced to 9p at Morrisons.

Good though for those who want to buy some cheap toys for birthday presents or for next Xmas.

I think there was a wooden tool for making newspaper plant pots among their Xmas stuff, and a fork & trowel gift set.

Some Xmas stuff down to 5p/10p/20p, Mrs Scrungee bought one of those squeezy plastic chickens that push out an egg @ 10p for our daughter (been giving her those every year for over 10 years or so), and I got packs of 6 wine bottle bags @ 20p, to enhance my gifts of homebrewed wine that only cost 35p/bottle to produce.

I have not used the Wilkos "gloss" or whatever the correct term for it is these days. I have used their emulsion , easily as good as the brand leaders at a good price :blue thumb:
Talking about Wilkos at work today , and someone said Wilkos is the new Woolworths ! I suppose it is . Good quality at a good price .

I believe having a local Wilkos is a real asset to any town, the quality/price of what they sell is excellent and there's no quibbling if anything goes wrong. Combine their already cheap prices with reductions up to 75% on gardening stuff, etc., and they're one of the best stores to have in town.

Just the one? When the serious reductions start we'll arrange a trip taking our nearest 4 x B&Ms and 4 x Wilkos.

Forgot to mention the other day that I found Carplan Windscreen Pre-Icer sprays (normally a few pounds each) reduced to only 30p. Never used them before, but thought worth a punt on a couple of them.

Another Wilkos, no pre-deicer, no half price seed (still 3 for 2), but lawn feed reduced from £2.50 to 80p

NB In addition to 25% off spring bulbs, there's also 25% off garlic.
