Today's find was packets of 50 meaty strip dog treats reduced to only 13p/packet, 4 treats for 1p, but they had a BBD of April 2016 (lucky Dog!). Should be able to freeze a year's supply of them to ensure they last longer.

We're clearing out pallets (about 30+ a day) from a construction site close to a Wilkos so visiting every day.

New Neath store any good Pam? We only got 2 wilkos by us too, Merthyr one has no parking so it's pretty difficult to lug big things over the bridge to the car park and Aberdare one is on the small side, still no parking but I just pop up on the curb, they don't seem to mind for loading.

Hi @Lynd, only been in once as not open that long, it`s on the site of the old council offices, directly opposite the multi storey car park, not as convenient as the old one, the lift from the car park came down into "wilkos" practically.
It`s a decent size, probably slightly larger than the old one.
I like Neath for shopping, 1 main st, an indoor market, 2 off shoot streets for "odd" shops, m&s, next, etc and morrisons to the side, where I usually park.

Haven't been to Neath in a while now but I like it too, love the indoor market and thanks for directions, think I'll go and have a nose soon!

As previously mentioned, I've found reduced seeds whilst away on hols, examples such as Kelsae onion seeds for 10p in Brecon Wilkos or all sorts of stuff for only 1p in Weymouth Wilkos.

In a local Wilkos this morning I saw a member of staff putting all the loose seed potatoes into plastic sacks and loading them on a trolley. Thinking they were probably going to be taken round the back and put into individual seed potato bags before being marked down, I asked him if they were going to be reduced.

He replied that they were being thrown away because they had started sprouting and he was going to put 'fresh' stock out. I tried to explain about chitting spuds but he just carried on bagging them up to be thrown away.

All the bagged seed potatoes, onion sets, garlic and spring bulbs have disappeared, if they were reduced they must have sold out extremely fast. I wonder if they simply threw them away like they did with their loose seed potatoes?

But the good news is that Rat & Mouse odour treatment sachets reduced to only 50p each!

Cor, for around a couple of quid you could get rid of the rat pee stench in every rodent infested room in your house - bargain.

I've bought a pack of mixed (hopefully all pinky as per illustration) Oriental lillies for half price, and some 2 packs of stretchy gloves for the princely sum of 10p.

Went into Eccles' Wilko's yesterday, never anything reduced when I go in!

Bought a replacement Cacti as one of ours has died over winter.

Big reductions on mouse traps (I've caught 33 in my greenhouse so far this year + 2 slugs in my traps) and repellers. Also cheap mouse pee stink remover for those who haven't been trapping them.

Cheesed of as only Wilkos we have is a good hours drive away and in the middle of a covered shopping centre so can't get you car close. Went once, bought loads of stuff and only then it occurred to me:doh: how the hell was I going to get the stuff to the car. I manage to persuade the shop to let me take the trolley away and someone then let me into the back of the shop to get the trolley back without having to walk miles to do so. Even then the great buys were a bit offset by my fuel getting there, time + blood sweat and tears pushing the trolley miles to the car. Stop announcing all these flaming bargains you're getting:).
