    Hi @Jiffy not \miss Jiff that's it then project is cancelled due inclement weather due for 2 months August.September 39 + centigrade,and there are only a few paving slabs the rest is concrete with Barney Rubble underneath it:heehee: enjoy your day my friend:smile:

          Woo, I ripped my lawn out earlier this year, due to the many issues I had with it, grass didn't thrive, suffered with moss, bone dry in summer and bog in winter with puddles constantly sitting on top...

          When I ripped out the lawn, it wasn't rubble causing the problems, but a patio that was part gravel and part slab, a couple area's of concrete and a concrete fish pond surround, among other bit of rubbish that had been chucked in the fish pond!

          I removed as much concrete as I possibly could, then when I discovered the patio, I did a rethink and calculations of cost, as it would need another skip, a mini digger to get the patio part out in a reasonable spam of time, then top soil... So now I have a lovely court yard effect back garden...

          So I agree with the others, if you leave the path in, you really won't get a lawn only hard work and constant disappointment

              I did this, some time ago now....a concrete drive that was so ugly....friends came and helped and after we had a bbq and a good old laugh :dbgrtmb: think the Boys were in competition with each other :heehee:
