    thanks penny yes its a stunning place to visit, the hills are so amazing with surrounding countryside theres some amazing homes on the hills it must be a delight to wake up to that every day

    One picture looked like it had an old castle up on the hillside.

    I had to giggle when i saw "Linda's Bunhouse"......cute place!

    hi penny it was a small castle on one of them, lindas bunkhouse i laughed when i saw that, heres some more pics of the teal cruise boat we went to ambleside on and when you get there you can get a little bus into town centre but we walked 10 mins walk you can stay as long as you like then catch the boat back to windermere really enjoyed the day out.
