Windows 8.1 disable charms bar help

    I wonder if there are settings somewhere to stop it happening,it doesnt seem right that you or any of us should be wary of using sites incase of large pop ups badgering us:dunno:
    Maybe a windows 8 brilliant idea!mine was only a small box in top corner x

    Have you got "Noscript" running with Firefox Pete? It blocks most Java scripts from running on your PC when connecting to a site.

      No I haven't Dave, I think I did have it some time ago on my old PC, along with something called adblock.
      But not got it now.
