I don't know where you're going to get a huge ash-tray shaped pond, though, Windy? It'll look good, though....

Seriously - it looks a great plan - and just think of all the hard work - oops, sorry, exercise!!!! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    :D :D
Thought I could have a Stella shaped water feature too :D
Just hoping I can pull it off. It's easy doing it on paper - a lot less digging :D
Rained for hours last night (yay!) and it's at it again this morning, so should make the digging that bit easier on my baked hard soil :D

I think your plans are fantastic and really adventurous; I have just started planning my garden which is the easy part. I have sifted three tons of ballast through the house for the patio and my back is suffering but I still feel full of enthusiasm. I am starting the vegetable patch next which will be at the end of my 60ft garden. I wish you luck and look forward to seeing your progress. Sash

    Aw thanks Sash,
Sounds like by the end of it we'll both be done in! Are you going to post some pics? And we can track each others progress and compare notes, that'll be fun [IMG] My son would like a vegi patch, might incorporate a few raised beds in the future?!
It's dead exciting isn't it!! I've not even really started and I'm mapping out future changes already [IMG]
You should be the first to get a preview of my new avatar - courtesy of Bananaman Ltd. Thanks again dude :D :D

That Avatar---- I've been sitting here ages, reading it! Love it - but it'll drive me bonkers soon, so I hope you've got the next one lined up, Windy!

Do you like my new one?? We're about to plan our front garden, having just (at great cost) bunny-proofed it (we hope). But I haven't done any nice drawings - I only do that for customers - my garden evolves......

I'm looking forward to lots of photos of work in progress, though, so I can see someone else suffering in the name of gardening! :D :D

    Honey Bee,
most definately didn't let my boy loose with a lump hammer  He could destroy something in a vaccuum :D :D Besides, he doesn't have much interest unless its Playstation related. Think that's a boy thing too!?!

Probably is, Windy! I've got 3 boys too - and although they're grown up they still show the same destructive tendencies as when they were young, and driving me demented....... The youngest managed to break the knob off the oven at Christmas when the gas was coming through, and I had visions of the place going up with a bang - it wasn't long after the Buncefield exlosion, after all. And a day or two before that I'd walked into the kitchen to find him with a kitchen towel on fire, and he hadn't noticed it...... So you've got plenty to look forward to, Windy and HB!!

Re the Avatar - taken at Muiravonside, a really lovely, relaxing place by the river Avon (surprise surprise!) between Falkirk and Edinburgh, near Linlithgow. I regularly walk Bella there, and she loves to chase rabbits and have a swim in the river.
    Here she is...
