**UPDATE** The storm never materialized so I mapped out my circles. Having a minor crisis of confidence and had to jiggle the plans around a bit, but it's all ready for digging. Deep joy!
Guess what I'm doing this weekend? [IMG]

me too! Every time I think of those two incidents I think [IMG] There - I've finally used it!!

I love the place - glad other people can appreciate it through my photos - Scotland is a nice place to live - glad I've finally come back. We take in emigrants from England if they're nice enough, BTW!

What was this thread about.....?? Oh yes - Windy's plans - I've just posted my bits on the projects - looking forward to seeing yours there too, Windy - love all the circles!!

Windy - this weekend should be fine for digging with all the recent rain. Exciting times - seeing it start to happen. Been there, done that, and know the buzz as what was in your mind starts to become a reality.

Dendy - lovely picture, if it wasn't for the weather, I would seriously consider moving to the west coast of Scotland. My mother's paternal side comes from Mid Lothian.

We'll let you come here, Fran!! The weather isn't that bad..... usually we even get some rain... I'm from the west, but live in the mid to east now.
Go on - you'd love it - and it would give you the chance to start a whole new garden!! :D :D :D

This was taken yesterday (between thunderstorms) from my boys bedroom window. Still loads of work to do but I'm quite pleased with how it's shaping up [IMG] And all the digging has meant I've gone down a jean size!!! [IMG]

Your circles at the top look like Mickey Mouse, Windy. Very unusual. It looks like you've got good soil. Can't wait to see it when it's planted!

What a thing to say, LOL!! You mean Minnie, don't you? :D :D

Don't worry Windy - it doesn't really - and even less so when planted up and full colour. You must be proud of yourself - it looks fantastic! Now, do we get a photo of you in the smaller jeans??

No, I purposely put Mickey because I thought Windy had boys! Am I right, Windy??? If not, sorry, it should have been Minnie!

Yay windy!!! Looks brilliant, even better in reality than on your plan. Can't wait to see it planted and what perfect circles. One of the best new gardens I have seen for a while [IMG]  [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

    Thanks everyone! [IMG]
My 5yr old said the same thing about Mickey Mouse LoL. It wasn't intentional, the circles just took a bit of juggling as they wouldn't go in the same as on the plan! [IMG] (as for seeing me in my new size 12s - maybe not!!)
Bm - thanks sooo much for your kind words. Going to be a good few years before there's a 'Windy's Hideout' post!
