winter hanging baskets

thanks kandy, getting a few more things to fill them up, just worried about the wind when it gets colder, tell you more by then iff they are a sucess.

The Dipladena/Mandevilla is the "Scarlet Pimpernel". It cannot tolerate frost and loses its leaves in cold climates ... so beware ... it may be a conservatory plant there. You'll have to pamper it, I think! What did you pay for it?

Re the ZZ plant ... I did not buy as large as one as you and BM. Although they had them that size, I got one about half the size for 2,75 Euros, so about �£1.90. The big one was about �£5 I think.

were i have put it does get the sun time will tell just the winds here in the winter that could have a big factor in saying that its pretty sheltered were i located it, didnt like that flower falling off though

 

and here are some tips on how to create a beautiful hanging basket. I can add that the vynil tubing can be purchased in a pet shop (aquarium kind of tubing)
