Where will you be staying?

For next year they've moved the carnival to the end of February so you won't have that - but there's so much to see it doesn't really matter.

Is that the one that has the Chinese restaurant? If so, what's the restaurant like?

We usually stay at the Cliff Bay. You would pass it on the way into town.

I bet walking back takes a bit longer . Well, it does for us!

 

A nice area, it was just inland from the Lido across the Estrada Monumental that I spotted these allotments. They may not be of interest to you but I went back again to have a proper look to see what they grow over there. Each plot has a shed and half the area is devoted to bananas with the rest down to veggies, sweet potatoes mainly. They can't grow normal potatoes as I think its too hot. When we went up to Monte the allotments there have normal potatoes, shows how the climate changes just by going up a few hundred feet or so.
