Raducanu has dropped out of the Mixed, which is sensible considering she is still in the Singles, but means Andy Murray has played his last match at Wimbledon ... unless he finds a substitute partner PDQ, I suppose.

Ah, that's a shame. I thought as long as the first round hadn't started, you could substitute.

Norrie out in 3, sadly. Dart playing well. She's a break up in the 3rd.

Dart and Norrrie out which just leaves poster girl Raducanu in who is having a fairly easy ride again and get all the media adulation.

Harriet should have wrapped that up in the second set really.

Raducanu can play excellent tennis, but her performance is patchy. Personally I'd say Gauff is a much better player.

            Swiatek out. Jabeur out.

Looking at the competitors still standing, it just might be Gauff's yr here. :blue thumb:

Raducanu v Sun going to a third set has interfered with my dinner timings. Not sure Emma will win this one as Lulu Sun is ‘on fire’ (not seen her play before).

No, Sun was new to me. It seemed very bitty tennis, with Emma unable to get any rhythm going. Sun has the higher ranking, so, although Emma was the favourite, it was always likely to be tough against someone who had come through qualifying. She did well to hold it together with the crowd naturally on Emma's side.

Seems to be a lot of players retiring injured - Dimitrov and Madison Keys the latest. It used to be a very rare occurrence, especially mid match.

Gauff out in 2. What a shame! She had a real chance of going all the way this yr. My money is on Rybakina to lift the trophy, though you can never completely rule out Ostapenko. When in the zone, she is impossible to play, but her game is erratic.

Really enjoyed the Fritz v Zverev match! Masterclass from Fritz in coming back from 2 sets down.

Djokovic v Rune match next… I need to be in bed early tonight so will that go 5 sets??

              11 pm is the cut-off point. :)

De Minaur beat Fils, but seemed to be hobbling after the last shot, so I hope that is nothing serious. Ostapenko was in fine form and brushed aside Putintseva.

Joe Salisbury and Heather Watson are playing together in the Mixed. Could be a good partnership. :dbgrtmb:

Fritz played a blinder coming back from 2 sets down.

Watching the Djokovic game and not liking the booing going on. Thought the spectators were better than that

Djokovic has just had a moan about the booing.
