The side garden - I have a big hole in the far corner where the Rhodedendron was. I'm a bit out of funds this month so I have put an old acer in a tub there now and a few pavers! The pond is about 18 months old and I am quite pleased though we need some rain.

Bambooruth - Footballs! Argh. But I have tried to design the garden as much as I can with their needs... So lots of stepping stones so they don't trample the soil. etc. A small pond to get them interested. And I think the seesaw is going to be bad for the grass but they need to play and enjoy. But damage one of mummy's plants and there's big big trouble! I get them involved all the time and they always help me choose things at the garden centre or plant seeds. I think you can raise kids to respect and enjoy gardens. :sunny:
