    Ditto - except I settled for Home Economics instead (can't even draw hangman, so art would have been a total waste :heehee:

    We were not allowed to mix with the boys school until 5th/6th form either @shiney ... I swear that was the excuse my two brothers (who were at the boys school) used for ignoring me at home too! :th scifD36: :rolleyes:

    I would have much preferred doing metal work and woodwork to making beds, embroidering an apron pocket to put on the apron we were taught to make before progressing onto ...
    ... cooking!! :roflol:

      Me too, the first thing we were taught in our needlework lessons was how to make our school uniform summer dresses. We all had to make them! @"M" I think you know my sentiments on cooking! :doh::biggrin:

        @Sheal and @"M" we boys werent even allowed in the Domestic Science (ie cookery) class when I was at school...:mad: If you ever tasted my cooking, you would know that was a big, big mistake! :snorky:

            My latest woodworking project. Some on here will know what it is called, but its not pc anymore to use the term! :heehee:

                      @martin-f you are correct. Everything that you can see in the photo has been made by me. Not only the new wooden things, but the painted ones as well and even the window a few years ago.
