Woo, dont get out of your nest over it.

Yes nice photos, you was the one who mentioned you had trouble with the land owner not me.;)

Its just that can see why maybe the landowner had a problem with drones flying over his land.

I have absolutely no intention of starting a thread about owning or flying a drone.

I think the difference is that most of us are referring to our own 'lands' which are much smaller gardens with a private dwelling very close by Woo, not the stunning open landscapes that you photograph. Please don't stop.!! :):dbgrtmb:

I am sure Woo was provided with some documentation when he purchased his drone. Also probably the licensing conditions say enough, about rules and regulations.

I seem to recall from my policing days, something about having certain rights under law regarding air space above your property. I should imagine this is much a thing of the past. A recent episode in a way settled the privacy laws.

My eldest daughter lives 129 miles away, in the New Forest. She mentioned the sycamore tree growing close to my sitting room window. Turns out she saw it when looking at Goole Earth. So have we got any privacy.

Thankfully Woo kept his cool with the farmer. The farmer perhaps has had problems with folk wandering about on his land.

Sorry to digress on the topic @wiseowl as the photos are lovely but a brief answer to Mikes comment seems the only place to post it.

Things have changed with the old saying of a landowner owning 'from the heavens above to the centre of the earth'. It used to be the law but was changed when flying started. It's now only reasonable airspace - but they forget to change the bit about the earth beneath! You own that - apart from the mineral rights which the government own.
