    Looking fabulous, dah'ling

May I be so bold as to ask, Sir? Will you be painting the raised beds that delightful cream colour with which you have painted the patio? Do forgive my boldness, kind Sir, but curious mind wishes to know?

Your 'umble servant, as always, "M"

Good morning @"M" my dear friend at the moment it is an unbalanced decision as to paint the raised beds cream or not,as the top half of the garden is on its way to be a wildlife area which at the moment is the bitter chocolate colour, dare I ask for your always sound and much appreciated advice, only I don't want to appear to forward my friend;) you have a great day:smile:

What a great idea, woo

:shhhh: I take it you have told Mrs Woo that it is now a *permanent* runner bean patch and she has found another spot for sweet peas? :shhhh:  :heehee:

I still think the cream and this is my "reasoning": the wildlife will not mind what colour it is as long as it is an area filled with nectar goodies; by keeping to the colour you have just painted the patio, it will pull the look together and be easier on the eye when looking at the *whole* length of the garden and, finally, it will "brighten" that spot but without dominating it :)

Looking very posh there, woo! :dbgrtmb:

If you are going to paint the path ... I would be choosing your contrast colour: the dark colour. It would "lengthen" the look of the garden but with the cream raised brick edges alongside it, it would draw the eye perfectly.
You should have butterflies basking on those cream walls/raised beds soon
