I've been looking through this thread over the past few days. @wiseowl your garden is spot on. The only negative comment I have is that some of the photos wont appear on my pc.

As regards rowans. The jelly that is made from them is a perfect accompaniment to lamb. In Norse mythology, rowans, yew, and elder are a potent trilogy to ward off all evil.

Nope, not even in a container "M". Cold, salty sea air and a pretty much permanent wind just burns them up.

Is it only me that thinks Pansies look angry not smiley ?
