          Thank you, woo.

Cor, crab apple jelly; scrummy! And a tree that is very wildlife friendly too, if I'm not mistaken.

Good evening @"M" yes that was the second reason we got one;)

The birds will feed on the fruit, particularly robins, starlings, greenfinches and thrushes
the colourful flowers will attract bees in spring and the native crab apple can be home to over 90 insect species:smile:

Good morning to day I have some digging to do in the new bed in front of the shed,my sons have got us some Dahlias and 70 cottage garden bulbs bless them(just the first of many) ;) as I have always said that if they want to treat their Mum and Dad always buy us plants for the garden, that way they are there year after year as an everlasting memory:smile:

Do I put the Dahlias in pots or wait until April?May and put them straight in to the ground:dunno:

:wow: What stunning colours and plenty of variety. "Hayley Jane" looks like she is going to be eye catching.

Charming sons you have woo - not that I'm surprised, they must take after their father.

Can't answer your questions today ... but our local gardening club is having a talk on Dahlias next time.
