Good evening @wiseowl I hope that you are and your family are well :)

I wonder if you could give me some advise please :please:

I've been very busy moving house and I've taken all my plants with me  I've put all my roses into pots... am I best leaving them like this over the winter months or am I best to get them into the ground now :what:?

On the off chance Apple Blossom has kept them in pots, up to this point in time, do you have any advice on when would be the best time to think about transferring them into the ground and, maybe, how to prepare the ground prior to planting them up? I'm guessing there may still be time to add some organic matter to the soil - but these hard frosts we're having may make digging soil quite difficult? - or do you suggest waiting until the ground warms up a bit? Likewise with digging them in: the ground is very hard (again, due to the frosts), so would it be wise to wait a little, say, early Spring? :noidea:

Indeed! I'm thinking of hiring him for two hours ... just because I know he'll do 8 hours work in those 2 hours it would take a teenage to complete!! :love30:

                                Freudian slip, woo?
So: :think3: the arbour you came to abhor is no more?
If I may be so bold as to ask: what become abhorrent about it?
