 Oh goodness Woo...!!! Not a shiney silver lion...!!!?? ;) I take it paint stripper is out of the question...! [IMG]

[IMG] Why not try painting it with the "live" type yogurt..!! I encourages moss & lichens to grow very quickly on stone... [IMG] Hopefully it will work on top of the paint..! That's the only thing I can think of.. [IMG]

I think you should put Mrs WOO in a cupboard and lock it - certainly don't let her near any paint pots in the future that's for sure. How could she ???? At the risk of getting Mrs WOO's hate mail, is it the only thing she has contributed? I suppose it seemed a good idea at the time. You obviously left your embrocation lying around and she's had a swig or two.

Diversifying slightly - I'm still pondering with the watering can you so kindly sent me. Our local town has rubbish plants but tomorrow we are off to the big city and I'm hoping I can find something nice and post a picture soon. [IMG] [IMG]

Hey WOO. I haven't looked in at this thread for a while. Had to laugh at your signature. 'MORE TO LIFE THAN INCREASING ITS SPEED' indeed. I've never seen faster progress.

Marley is right. I used to be a partner (sleeping of course) in an antiques business. YOGHOURT. That's the thing for stone and stone resin in the garden. The best possible taste (and makes it look antique).

However if Mrs. WOO had not painted the lions in the first place, would she have got her pond?

[IMG] Like John says Woo.... Pass the yogurt pot..!!!!!! To give them the old stone look with moss & Lichens growing on them.... Might need to sand or strip the paint back a bit to give the yogurt a key, otherwise it will just slide off...!!!!! [IMG] Have fun Woo... :D

Hello again WOO. What is the large plant in the last picture, on the right, just at the back of the chaos? Is it some sort of phormium? WANT SOME, WANT SOME, WANT SOME. Gonna throw a tantrum. Gotta P. tenax but that looks far lighter.
