Oh my goodness Woo - no wonder you have backache! Lifting a lawn is hard work!!
Are you fed up with having to mow it?

I am impressed Woo, you certainly have the bug! :)
I love redesigning an area and planning what to do with it. We have [well OH has] just dug up a very large ceonothus which had a base like a tree trunk so I am having fun thinking what to plant now.
Do you do the hard work while Mrs. Woo does the planting? That's it in our house :D

Hi there WOO. Dahlias eh ? That'll be nice :thumb: If you get a chance, try to get along to a specialist nursery that have them on show so that you can see them in the 'flesh'. I've found (not that I've grown many) that those bought from garden centres can quite often disappoint when expecting what is shown on the packet. I have around 8 Dahlias which I grow for cut flowers. It's not a very good picture, but as you can see, we get plenty of blooms all summer long :)

Hi WOO. This is where I bought mine from.... http://www.eurodahlia.com/ You can browse their catalogue to see what takes your fancy. There's also plenty of info there, probably everything you need to know.
    Cheers...freddy.

How is your front garden coming along, Woo? You've done such a brilliant job of the rear garden, so I'm looking forward to seeing how you're going to finish off the front one now.

What a great idea Mr. Woo :)
It looks like it will be quite big. Will it have a liner or preformed or will you do it all yourself?
What sort of fish would you like?

Ive hardly ventured out into the garden over the past 2 months because of the weather.

I had to google ghost carp Mr.Woo and they look as if they grow to a big size. Good luck with the digging and have plenty of cups of tea breaks!
