    That's quite the accomplishment - particularly considering how cold it is out there right now, and that your ground was probably frozen!

    wow that was quite a bit of soil to excavate today Woo (hope its ok to call you that) take it easy - what are you lining it with ? I lined mine with some sand and a load of attic fiberglass insulation.

    Hi Thank you Leavesnbloom ,I,m going to put in a preformed Pond 10 x 7 approx,Just done a little bit more digging,phew its Minus 4c out there:)

    Good job I had the Floodlights:cool:

    Well done with the digging of the new pond Woo,but I do hope that you are taking it slowly:)

    Are you keeping your other pond or are you transfering the fish from your other pond to this new one?:)

    Hi Kandy Thank you for your most kind words :)I am using the old Pond,Have removed the fish and my neighbour as a very large (12ft x 18ft ft) pond which I constructed for her,and she has kindly taken them,Have taken all the water out,now to move the pond to the top of the garden in its own protected wildlife area ,as its -6c out there I am going to have a little break now so that I can thaw out,My feathers are all frozen together:hehe::)

    Its in Position,tomorrow I will level It up all round and then Backfill with Earth,Then bury Filter so that It remains Hidden from view:)

    Good going Mr. Woo. The earth here is frozen - I tried to dig some so the birds could rummage but it was solid :(

    That's the hardest bit done hopefully!
