Why can't this work on here? Being a newbie, I clearly have a lot to learn.

 

@RowlandsCastle most of us can't make it work either. @Papi Jo and @Eustace have worked out ways but I don't understand.

 

How about using a system of smileys to signify the different squares?
= letter not in the word (previously a grey square).
= right letter, wrong location (previously a yellow or orange square).
= right letter, right location (previously a green square).

So Wordle 1033 (17th April 2024). 4/6
