Nice work Martin! I like the proportions and the balance you have achieved between the different materials and the plantings, particularly with the use of the sleepers. I hope Mrs Martin keeps you well supplied with refreshments while you are doing all this work!

Many thanks for your kind words RW, yes the Mrs is providing refreshments on a regular basis :).

Two of the planters finished for now I will be adding a few more plants in the coming weeks, ive put some weed control in the bottom so i didn't block the drain holes, i need to pick more soil up to finish the rest of them,

I guess I will have to keep the planters well fed in a months time, very pleased with it the more I look at it, it should look great once the blooms come :).

You've done a grand job there Martin. :dbgrtmb: I keep thinking that it wouldn't last long in my garden, one winter gale would dismantle it!

Thank you S :), I love it, it can be a never ending project adding and removing plants all year to keep it in bloom, its in front of our living room window and could be a nice feature :).

Its more stable with the weight on it tbh, its in a sheltered position and ive concreated its legs in to make it more secure if it's still there next year is remained to be seen :heehee:,

The cctv picture below is more / less our view up the garden to give you an idea of its position.

I love this plant, the Autumn colour is fabulous!
They've actually got them in Morrisons for £1.77 so you could pick up a bargain. They can be slow to get going, but, once they do .... :dbgrtmb:
