Goodness, Pal, that does look like it would be cold to work in! Hope you're thawing out now!

I can imagine it wouldn't be very pleasant to work with glass in such cold conditions. Don't envy you at all, Pal. Brrrrrrrrrr!

I too wouldn't fancy that - the damp cold must have been horrid.

Marley, I glazed the timber screens as far as I could ..but now I'm held up by the Chippies who haven't fitted the hinges to the openers  Oh hum ,what's new!
Probably be in Chipping Campden tomorrow.that's the Northern edge of the Hill range and the Start/End of the Cotswold Way footpath running to Bath.

Much much better, in that weather it must have been a joy to work at - but sorry its a holiday let. So sad in such a beautiful area of the country.

There are coastal villages that have died through the affluent second home holiday market - I hope that doesn't happen in the Cotswolds.

It's already happened Fran! Villages are deserted during the weekdays and School holidays too.Weekends of course are very tuneful with the hum of the mowers. The only increase I see are the vast numbers of 4x4's parked ANYWHERE there are no restrictions..common sense does not appear to apply!, and which for some reason daren't leave the middle of the roads and lanes as they roar toward you!

Not that you're at all bitter about it, eh, Pal?

It's a mega-problem all over the countryside - anywhere that's nice to live, there's no chance of local kids growing up to live there nowadays..... Lots of houses are being built all over the place, and far too many of them are 2nd homes, being bought by people who can afford 2 of them, so unfair!!
