Lovely photo's Pal.I quite like the idea of the roofed seating area in the middle of the lawn.Pity our garden is a tad too small :( Also like your Montana Clematis. We have one climbing uo our garage wall but it isn't quite as big and spreading as yours [IMG]

And just to prove my locations aren't always spectacular..
This was a first for me today...painting a flag pole..a very wobbly flag pole [IMG]

Despite the view I never saw a horse at the trough, or a postman at the box either! :D

Hi Pal, one of two ways, it looks as though there is something circular under it, might it be to make it easier to position the rock.
The other way is to take a pic from both directions and erase the rock from one pic then mask out the background from the other pic and superimpose the rock on the original pic.
And they say the camera never lies!!!

I think Mike's first idea is right, it's quite clearly covering the entrance to Paladin's underground evil genius lair as per james bond bad guys - it's probably part of a missile launching system or something too so it needs to rotate...

    :D
Mike is right...not about the photo editing though,I haven't got the knowledge to do that! ...Yes,there is a turn table under the rock and I took the pic's as it was spinning..you can see the grass catching on it as it passes.
It's in a garden that was created by a famous furniture maker from the village and the new owner is adding his own quirks too.
    This is another feature there..

Well, Pal, I really would protest ... very loudly, that you have to work in such conditions. We are past those times of hardship within the workplace. Stand up for yourself, Sir Knight in Shining Armour.

PS Certainly not Knight Rider and Kitt!
