Those of us lucky enough not to get flooded, don`t realise what other people go through until we see pictures like that, Nick.

When the property actually flooded the water reached half way up the middle window. Today it peaked at the water marks on the wall as you may be able to see.
There used to a bridge under that Willow,it's now somewhere futher down the Stour.

Not seen this thread before, some stunning views.

I might start a similar thread later in the year with pics of the propertys/ grounds I work on.

Bad flooding around here but even worse are the landslips, the hillside on the oposite side of the valley from were I was working went yesterday brining down about 40 tons of ****. Quite scary considering Id driven along the road an hour before!

[IMG] A couple of nice little finds there Pal... Had it just flooded when you found the little clog?
[IMG] A clay pipe makers cottage once stood where our garden in now. Obadiah Ashe..

[IMG] Bristol Uni came out many years ago & pretty much cleared the garden of any trace of them, but we still find the odd pipe bowl or stem when gardening.... :D

Working near Cirencester today, heaving this huge Tarp'over a grade 2 listed barn,it took four of us to carry it and measures 24 x 12 metres. We have another to add next week and each one cost a grand!

Eventually it will become part of a hotel complex along side the new Water Park conservation lakes already there.
