[IMG] Have no Idea about the jockey myself Pal, think that is more rosa's thing.. I heard a similar superstition as a kid Pal.. Did the game keepers hang the dead birds from the fences or a particular tree? They did on the farms round where I spent my childhood.... Don't seem to see much of that round here now.. [IMG]

 :D Welll I know you all think differently from me, but I have a real fascination for stuffed wildlife...! [IMG] Not pets or the like though...!
:D You know the old western star Roy Rogers had his horse "Trigger" from his movies stuffed & kept it in his house.. :D

I heard he should have been. Talking about stuffing animals. :D :D But official figures out today, show that sheep now outnumber humans, here in Wales by 3 to 1. [IMG] [IMG]

Marley, they used to call it a gamekeepers giblet.

These days its frowned upon as confrontational what with the 'anti' movment.

[IMG] I knew there would be a name for it Pro-gard.. Thanks for that... I did wonder if it was anything to do with the "anti this & that lobby" as to why it wasn't seen much now... Plus of course there are not so many game keepers now either!! :(

The motto of my school was "Renovate Animos" I used to say to anyone who asked that it meant "Stuff the Animals".

Any truth in the rumour that in Wales you're now singing - "I know I'll always find another ewe"
    :D ;)
