The Citroen I drive would not be my own choice. Our firm has a fleet of about 25 and most lads moan about the lack of floor area,as you can see I have to stack it high.

I have to accommodate dog + bed nowadays - she's decided she likes vans, and wants to comea long and be my minder!! She's not so keen on being jammed in when the mower etc is all in there too, tho'!

What I found ideal for local and long distance work was the Ford Escort 1.8 D.The space was just right..a glass rack and tools, and still enough middle clearance to access it all. However.. the engines on'em are prone to drop cam belts and repair was costly. If they had stuck in an engine from the Astramax the combination would be perfect for me!..excellent machine the Astra but a rot box.

    Are you a window cleaner?
Just noticed the ladder against the house in your first picture and then all the glass in the next.

Its just that we can't get them round here.

ouuu errr now there is an offer!

Actually I was only joking, but windows are recently quite a topic for me as we have just done up our house and it was a nightmare for us chosing windows.

we have left two what look to be original Yorkshire sash windows (which will not last much longer) and the rest........well I dare not say!

I used my old astra estate car for ages - it's amazing what you can get in there with the back seats down! But elderly relatives objected to being picked up from the station in it!! So I got the Suzuki, and am really pleased with it. It's got lots of space, sliding side doors on both sides and a handy storage space sideways behind the seats under the main floor area, where I put spades and forks and stuff of that length - and it's shorter than the astra!! I could be a van salesperson!! :D
