    Hmm..

I can imagine an estate agent's listing for this.

"Detached bungalow set in half an acre, with gardens set to lawns front and back.
    Open aspect with country views.
    Ideal for refurbishment."

    Digressing..

Many years ago, my sister once went to view two cottages in Wales, one was described by the agent as; "semi-derelict," the other as "derelict."
The first was two walls and no roof. The other wasn't much more than a pile of stones.

:D Reminds me of the joke...
"Come home to a real fire...Buy a holiday cottage in Wales"

This was no joke in the seventies.

A work colleague bought a holiday cottage in Wales and went round introducing himself to neighbours and local traders as a "Mr Owen."

Penny Coughton Court pronouced (pronounced "Coat-un").. has superb gardens. They are recent but they really are beautiful.. The Throckmorton family are well known.. They one of our oldest Catholic families & they have lived there since the 15th century..So they have lived here as a family for 600yrs.
Henry the VIII stayed here & it is linked to our Gun Powder Plot of 1605 Guy Fawkes & all that..!!
You can also visit the house which has some superb historical artifacts to look at... Although the family live there it is run by the National trust, but even so a smashing place.... That is what I mean about Pal has some great places to worS..! steeped in history....!:dh: Oh gosh sorry Pal didn't mean to hijack your thread there, just I have visited a couple of times in the past with some friends & I loved the place...:gnthb:
