[IMG] The aqua connection refers to Fish Hill on the A44,the "Quartet" road I was on leads to the Group 4 conference centre! The road is known locally as,Campden Hole.
Near by is a Tower over looking a"very wide" village ....Broadway! :D

[IMG] I say Paladin, that is superb!!! Has it changed much, where you lived. I take it the garden isn't so different.. [IMG]
[IMG] I go down to Hampshire once a month to visit with an old relative. Spent allot of my childhood with her & my grandparents there.... I get a warm feeling as soon as I get near the old school & it continues till I pass it on the way home. Strange isn't it... [IMG]

The garden is just as big!Same again that you don't see. But there was no grass back then! Spuds, spuds and more spuds. Of course Grand parents grew all sorts of veg,but spuds haunt me still!
The village is not a place I wish to live in now.
I couldn't afford the prices anyhow
At least the cottage still comforts a part of my family ;)
The most vivid memory I have is jumping out of that gable window at the age of 11...into snow that had drifted as high as the greenery there now!...1964 I think?...or was that last year??

    :D

[IMG] When I go back & look at the old place where we lived it is strange to see how little has really changed. The huge fruitcage my grandfather had is now lawn & the orchard is now a pony paddock, but the house still looks the same from the outside, even down to the black & white paintwork.... A young family in there now... Nice, brings the house alive again..! [IMG] Btw, have memories of climbing out of my bedroom window at this place.. ;)

Well....!The back door on the cottage had a broken weather board. When the owner came to replace it I ended up fitting it because the door wouldn't open after his attempt!....One thing led to another and now the bathroom, shower and kitchen have beautiful new silicone work to ceramics, flooring and work tops
Oh...and their new DVD player is working a treat!
    :D
