Hello so any team that we beat easily is a poor team, and if we win we were either lucky or we beat a poor team,it never ceases to amaze Woo the lack of pride and beliefs we have in our national team.:old::uh-oh:

Hi @pete no worries its the past antics ie missed penalties, failed success of the team, and 20 managers adds to our doubt;)

A good result, but they will need to tighten up the defence, too many "unforced errors," they were sloppy and gave away the ball too often. If you can't pass sideways accurately when you're not under pressure, you've no business being in the team. Ashley Young was guilty of that more than a couple of times. We've some good players but some who are just average and they think they're better than they are at controlling the ball, so lose concentration and the ball.

                You've got it in one.

If I and others viewers can make that determination, what's the need for over-paid pundits, on thousands for saying the same things?

Alan Hansen when he was "stating the bleedin' obvious," on MOTD, was reportedly on 1.5 million pounds a year.

So do I, I'm one of them.

Do we have to hear your dubious opinion .
I prefer the highly paid experts who know what they are talking about.

                        Hmm..

                        Grammatically, it's;

                        It beggars belief.

Get it right, you lose credibility if you can't spell what was an unnecessary comment anyway.

You can have any opinion you like on any topic, why should I mind? As long as you don't get unnecessarily personal.

You don't have to "hear" anything on this board.

                        Just scroll down.

Are you a Liverpool supporter and took exception to my comments about Alan Hansen?

I'll accept that as "mitigating circumstances" in this instance, but don't push your luck.

As for really highly paid people knowing what they're talking about, you can't beat the two managers of opposing teams, in their post-match TV interview.

For most of the time you'd think each were watching a different game.

Fret not, Roders has plenty of ‘cred’ here, so trying to belittle him might well have an adverse effect.

I recorded the ladies final in Birmingham to watch this! And even delayed watching the final at queens! As a tennis fan this is unique! I loved the football, we should have won, I get that . But what a win:hapydancsmil:

                              No one's fretting.

"Adverse effect," what does that mean?

Read the thread, he had an unnecessary pop at me, to which I responded, just stating my opinion, without responding in kind. That should have been the end of it.

                              Then he had another go.

                              So I put him right.

Why is it some on here sometimes can't express an opinion on a topic without having a pop at another poster because their opinions differ?

Is it so hard to play nice?

Or is it because the topic was football?

By the way, this is the second time he has had an unprovoked pop at me, (the other was back in May) both his and what in the circumstances I considered was my reasoned response as in this instance, were removed.

Far better if he'd said nothing personal in the first place, (twice).
                              There's no need for it.
