I'd rather eat my shoes than watch footy. Masterchef is on the telly, much better viewing!

Did we Win?:mute: Perhaps if these footballers wasn't paid so much money a week to dance around a piece of grass for ninety minutes they might put more effort into the game.Perhaps if they paid them say £5 a week then gave them a big bonus of say £6 a week it might give them an incentive to do better:snork:

Much rather watch the tennis on the telly:cool:

PS When does the ladies World Cup start?:love30:

Great to see you Kandy  The England Ladies team are doing very well for next years (2015) world cup:blue thumb:;)

England move within a point of World Cup
Casey Stoney and Eniola Aluko's goals earn a 2-1 win over Ukraine but England must wait to seal a place at the 2015 World Cup.

Wales are the now only team who can pip England to top spot in Group Six.

The Finals will be held in Canada;)

                  England's
                  results so far
                  • Belarus (h) - W 6-0
                  • Turkey (h) - W 8-0
                  • Wales (h) - W 2-0
                  • Turkey (a) - W 4-0
                  • Montenegro (h) - W 9-0
                  • Ukraine (h) - W 4-0
                  • Belarus (a) - W 3-0
                  • Ukraine (a) - W 2-1
                  • Wales (a) - 21 August 2014

I got told off for potty mouth at the footy by Mrs L :( I have the same belief that as these bags of wind are paid excruciatingly, eye watering sums off wedge every week then I don't just expect them to be good, I expect and require them to be exceptional. Polished, sharp and crisp in passing, fitter than a robbers dog and personal standards so high even the Queen would weep.

Frankly this has been a[nother] cruel example of club before country.

The ladies competition is light years ahead in performance and behind in pay. Not fair at all.

                        @wiseowl,
You still think this is??

Personally, I think the English game is in a very sorry state.
We have one of the richest, if not the richest league in the World, and the national team is a total disgrace.
Too many foreign players come here for the money, and it is having a negative impact on the national team.

Good morning Sirius my friend yes I stand by my original statement,I was at Wembley in 1966 watching England win the World Cup,I have been a fan of football and not just one team but of the beautiful Game;) The manager has done an incredible job,it just came a little early for him and us . You like many others can criticise the team and the game as that is your right my friend:smile:

Good morning Sirius my friend, yes I stand by my original statement:old: I have always been a fan of football not of any team,I was at Wembley in 1966 ,and have seen most of the previous England teams,The manager has done and will continue to do a great job,I have been to the series A league in Italy many times, where I am fortunate to have relations in Milan ,all that has happened is that the world cup came a little to early ,I still say we will win the Euro final:smile:

You are entitled to your opinnion and I respect that,But I just happen to love the game itself ,and the fitness, pride, commitment, work rate of the modern football player,I am no more interested in what they earn ,or anyone else's salary,or lifestyle:smile:

We must agree to disagree and to remain friends,I am now going for a lie down ,as I have a pressure headache:heehee: [IMG]

This is just Woos opinion because he just loves England and all things English;)
