Its one of those phones that is so smart I cant work out how you use it.

As to micro chipping, I had my dog done and each year when it came round to the usual injections the vet would say, lets just check the micro chip.

It appears they move, and on a few occasions they couldn't find it with the scanner.

That's assuming you have a phone that can connect to the web! Mine only makes phone calls. :heehee:

Also, I don't need all these free sims as I hardly use my phone. I used it twice this year. :phew: Once to phone the taxi that was waiting to pick me up at the airport and the other time was to phone Kristen when we were having a GC meet up.

I have had to call the paramedics Several times recently and to be honest it would have been great if they could get all the info they need by scanning a chip, instead of trying to tell them where my medical info is in my house or bag would have been great as sometimes we are not conscious enough to talk properly.. Valuable time lost in treatment perhaps, but I am trusting them with my life and do... As for their honesty they would be stupid to steal from a patient as obvious suspects Sheal.. So I would like to think they are honest people as all the ones I have had contact with have been first class...

Sadly we do not live in a perfect world and corruption gets everywhere so NO to a chip in the long run..

Not everybody is trustworthy, even paramedics. Once they've scanned your personal info and probably gained your name and address into the bargain, with a rummage for your house keys in your handbag, pocket etc. they can steal everything you own!

These same people can gain my next of kin from my mobile phone via an 'Ice' entry in contacts.

My sister is a first responder for her rural area, she has gained precious time for several people, and I was more than happy to allow the paramedics in whilst caring for my husband, I was trusting them with my husbands few remaining hours. I take offense at those remarks @Sheal .
I take your point that they cannot prove their honesty at entering your property, but if I was so unwell I had called for medical assistance I wouldn`t care.

I have a container in my fridge marked with a green cross and a sticker on my front door, that tells emergency persons when they see it, my information is there.

The SOS Talisman necklaces are nice as well, something stylish as well as being practical.
