Would you rent out your home?

    They said even the agency said the landlord was taking the pi** , but it was their right to up the rent to the going rate, they have lived there for over 5yrs, but rents have gone crazy and the landlord says that is the going rate for the area now, but the house is in a bad way, the roof has leaked for years and I went over there on a few occasions and the front steps to the place are lethal.

      I would never rent our house out. We have got it really nice, the garden too and wouldn't trust anyone else to live in it. My son owns two houses and rents one out - he had terrible tenants even though they were vetted and both working. They eventually were put out and left a mess behind them - luckily my son did not have to pay for the clearing. The second lot of tenants are great!
