Very festive ..keep going and you will soon be ready for xmas..you could make some paper mache baubles and decorate them yourself to stick on the balcony if you varnished them after you had decorated them they would stand up to the weather..

I was thinking maybe iff i put them on the window as it is set back were the baskets are they will definately get wet.

wildflower like your ideas of the baubles as them hanging along would be ok.

Rosa try uplifting your plant and checking if a grub may be eating roots.

    Is she an old shrub?

Was in Dobbies yesterday with a friend and bought a snowman and a santa to put in my hanging basket they are on a spike very effective.

Needing another piece of varigated ivy also I would like a small skimmia plant with red berries think that would compliment the rest of the basket.

dont know if its old and i pulled at it and the leaves are falling off and all the berries are dying.
will have to get myself looking for santa sticks in gardening centres and have me some of them.
looking forward to seeing end results of your xmas hanging baskets and gardens, what a treat.
yes a bit of red would brighten your basket lovely

Thankyou Rosa I so [IMG] Gerberas I bought a pot plant in the summer and left her on my deck where she bloomed ever so well then decided to plant her in to a container, where she is still growing and now in bud.

They are nice as a cut flower in a vase.

I did once grow them from seeds they did germinate but I did no tmanage to keep them growing.

They are such a pleasure a many nice colours.

So glad you like my avator yes well seen ,I really like this colour.

Added more varigated ivy and am playing about with pine cones as a filler.

Wanted a small skimmia with berries all that was in our local garden centres were largew plants £7.99 and £15.99 these plants the size were too big to go in the hanging basket.

Came across artificial red berries in the shop so have got these.

I do have cotonaster with red berries growing a large bush in the garden.

Could also prune a small twig with berries and add it.

At least it would be bird friendly.

    Certainly coming together.
