    Just a wee bit too add to my hanging baskets they are coming together now.

    trailing with red, and suitable for a winter basket? Need to put on the thinking cap! :rolleyes: :D

    Thankyou Rosa yes it is now taking shape was chatting to my neighbour whose husband made the feature which has solar lights and can hang the baskets.

    Spoke about covering the chains of the baskets with nice tinsel,There are three chains so how about colours of christmas silver,red and green.

    But this would have to be thin tinsel I think.

    I still want a red trailing plant for effect only would need the foliage red.

    Maybe I should have taken out a patent for the idea of axmas hangign basket [​IMG]

    hi skotkat, yes thin tinsel, I tried thicker tinsel and it was just too much.just ordered from the avon 3 garden xmas ornaments on sticks, for indoor plants i think but i,m putting them on my balcony, will take pics when i get them.

    Rosa - I know you bought the cone hanging baskets, but how are the cones attached? Its just that one of my friends who's a nursery teacher, has to produce a garden for a comp next year and, as she has tons of cones, I told her Id seen your baskets but we couldnt think how to make them!! Would be very gratefull to know but dont go dismantling them will you!!! ;)

    I bought them like that at wilkinsons marge and i honestly dont know how they put them together, there is a plastic lining inside.
