    Good morning everyone,

O2, congratulations granny :hehe: :gnthb:. Sorry to hear the other news :(

This morning we had a new male pheasant turn up in the garden. He has white stripes on his head. The pheasants are only just coming back regularly now after having their summer holiday. This morning we had three males and five females :)

I shall try and do a bit more clearing of leaves this morning.

    Have a great day :D

Hi everyone, I thought I'd pop in here for a bit.:)
I've just spent all morning digging out a Lespedeza from my raised bed.
The blessed thing obviously wanted to stay where it was!
I got some help from my son, so now finally it's in it's new home.
Luckily it's still really warm and sunny here, so more time to sort out the garden.

Good morning Penny, Peri, rosa and everyone - and welcome Mandy :gnthb:

Yesterday was very mild and we got a lot done in the garden. We are taking in our non-hardy plants and are struggling to find room for them. :(

Today is also very mild and not a breathe of wind. Not much time for gardening today as I have a lot of other things to do.

    Have a great day :D

    Morning everyone.
It's unusually warm here too, I'm not complaining though.:)
I've just moved another large plant. Luckily this one was easier than the last.
I really should make a start on the rockery. I just don't know where to start!
I know it going to involve more heavy digging and shifting of rock.
Not sure I've got my heart in it yet.

    Good morning everyone,:)

Its warmer here today but raining....again.:thumb:

Have to do some errands today as well as my grocery shopping, so hopefully it will have stopped raining then, but i doubt it:dh:.

Same here:), its already dark around 5pm, and in the mornings its still dark until about 7:45am, so we change the clocks on Saturday right after all the kiddies have been and gone for trick or treating:flag:.

It makes our winters here soooooooooo long with it dark by 5 and no light in the mornings until almost 8, but what can ya do, besides move :rotfl:

    Welcome Mandy :)

rosa, I took a few photos (don't know how bad they are :hehe:) and may post them on 'Whats looking good' if they are OK.

Helen, good to see you on here again and hope you are getting better. You must be working very hard to get everything ready for Halloween. :gnthb:

Peri, I think they forecast rain but I hope it holds off for you :thmb:

Penny, you could always move over here where it gets dark by 3.30 in the depths of winter :rotfl:

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

Just a quick flying visit to let everyone know who sent me messages that I rang the Dr's this morning as I have been unwell all this week and had to go down to see him.Anyway,he listened to my lungs and did all the usual checks and he says I have Bronchitis again, which I am now succeptable{Mr K's spelling} so have to take 3x250mg of Amoxicillin a day to clear it up.:(I debated whether to go and see the Dr but couldn't stand the sore throat from the coughing any longer.:p

Mr K is going over to the allotment this morning to repair the shed roof and put new felt on it and I am going to wrap myself up in my blanket and will either read my book or fall asleep whichever comes first:D

Hope you all have a lovely weekend in all that you do and it looks like Mr K will be on sweet patrol tomorrow night as I am not going to feel up to standing on a cold doorstep dishing out sweeties to the little monsters this year so no photo's either:( I have just had an evil thought,I might put up a big sign on the front door saying we have swine flu please don't knock and then i can save the sweeties until next year:hehe:

Oh by the way,my sister who had been diagonsed with Diabetes the other month has lost 34lb in weight due to Metformin and Weightwatchers so she can now get back itno ehr size 12 jeans.I am very pleased for her:thumb::luv:
