hi peri, getting all decorations sorted, went xmas shopping today bought a lovely vase with poinsettas and 2 gorgeous red glass candle holders with white decorative scenes around them from matalan.
the council deal with noise but you have to send them noise lists then they take it to next level equipment in your home and i dont think i can be bothered with all that, so decided to give neighbours back what they do to me, i bang on the floor and it has shut them up.
hubby wont get back till 6th january hes away for 5 weeks this time, got turkey in for week sunday and all his pressies wrapped up hes going to open them before he goes.
    have a nice evening

    Good morning everyone,

Horrible winds and heavy rain last night but it has cleared up this morning. We have sunshine with a light breeze and I hope it continues all day :thumb:

No cooked lunch for me today. I will have a quick sandwich before having to drive over near Bedford to play a bridge match against the Bedfordshire County Team. That won't finish until about 7.30 so I should be home about 8.30 - in time to pop to the Indian restaurant for a curry :thmb: :D

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

Bit late on here this morning because i have been getting all the meat{beef} and veggies ready for dinner today and the meat and veggies ready for the casserole I am doing for tomorrows dinner.

Peri, sounds like you have got it all planned well for xmas:thumb:We got our turkey crown yesterday and paid £12 for a 2.4kg bird plus we got the crackers so apart from a few other bits we need to get we are all ready for xmas ourselves:D I don't mind iroing as I have been doing all my own laundry since I was twelve so have no problems doing the stuff.:p

Rosa, glad you are getting into the xmas spirit as well.I bet your hubby will enjoy his turkey with all the trimmings and the prezzies you have brought him.:gnthb:

Shiney good luck at the bridge match today, but I don't envy Mrs Shiney sleeping next to you after eating that Indian, phew:pHope Oscar and Monty are okk-l

Had a good day yesterday despite some rain early on and late afternoon, and then it lashed down all night beofre we went to bed.Got loads of stuff sorted out from the garage loft space that we have put up there since we moved, and took four car loads to the tip and have more to take this morning before I put the dinner on:D

Hope you all have a great day and not too blown about with all that wind which we have again:p

    Morning Rosa and everyone,

Struggled to get out of bed this morning but am here now.:)

Rosa, that was a stroke of luck for Mr Rosa, and nice early presant from Santa Claus:hehe:

Good Luck with your visit to your daughters this morning.I bet she will love the tree and your grandson is now old enough to appreciate xmas a bit more.:D

Well we had more wind and rain yesterday, nothing new there and more is forecast for the coming week.I said to Mr Kandy this rain is making up for the dry Autumn we have just had and I bet it will carry on like this right through to the New Year:(

Had a good day yesterday taking another load of rubbish to the tip.We shall have to stop now or else we shall be on first name terms with the workers there:D Piad our allotment rent yesterday afternoon so that is out of the way,but because it was raining couldn't get onto the plots to sow our winter broad beans.I knew we should have sown them when it was dry in October:p

Hope you all have a great day:luv:

    Good morning everyone,

It is wet and windy out there but is brightening up a bit. :thumb:

Yesterday's bridge went well and the drive there and back was quite easy :gnthb:. Only an hour each way. I have another bridge match tonight and don't expect to get back until after midnight.

Oscar is well and we haven't seen Monty for a couple of days so I expect he is staying indoors whilst it is raining.

I've got to catch up on a lot of paperwork :(

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

Its going to be cool here, and supposed to rain later on.

Had a busy weekend, so not much doing today, and all the house work is done, so even better.
