Good morning everyone,

Another new day is dawning,well probably in an hourish or so and at the moment it is dry and not windy out there:D

Had a good day yesterday getting a lot of my house jobs done,only two more rooms to do and that is me looking nice and clean unitl they need doing again.:D It will be nice to see the back of the wet stuff then perhaps I can get outside to finish off putting the garden to bed for the winter

Glad that you won by a Wide margin but have no clue how wide that is:flag::D Is it over or under a foot?Funny how we have these different sayings about things:p

Since I haven't been too good lately I have lost a bit of interest in the garden,but as i said last week managed to get a little done outside but now we have the grass and borders saturated don't feel like going out there much.Strange though I have an orange Cowslip in flower,my Snowdrops are showing through the soil,some Daffs are also showing,plus I have flowers on my Rapsody in Blue rose,oh and as usual my Dublin Bay rose is a mass of flowers and will be until right through December.That is one brilliant rose,just a shame that it doesn't smell but the length of time it is in bloom more than makes up for it:gnthb:

good morning everyone, didnt get on yesterday had my daughter and grandson here and i had to go to specsavers decided to get contact lenses getting them week saturday, i accidentally stood on my glasses so had them straightened.

Late getting up this morning so my winter sleep problem is starting to kick in now.:( I got my lightbox down from the spare bedroom yesterday so am now going to start using it to see if it helps:p

Rosa, glad you finally went to specsavers,i said you would in the end:D Yoiu are brave with the contact lenses as I couldn't wear them as I have a thing about eyes,:euw: At least with the contacts you won't be treading on them all the time:p Enjoy your day whatever you are doing :thumb:

Shiney,your Oscar sounds like he enjoys helping with all your jobs in the garden. k-lThat Uggy/Davina cat follows me everywhere I go{when it isn't sleeping}and i swear one day i shall end up with it in the washing machine as it does like to have a look at what is going on when i am putting the washing in the machine:euw:

Anyway,I had a good day yesterday although i was indoors for most of the day due to the wind and rain again and then last night went babysitting for my friend.I had to take some of my You to Me bears for her to see as she spotted them in her mums Next book last time i was with her,so I have asked Mr Kandy to get her one next time he goes in Clintons and I will give her that along with her money so she can now start up a collection of her own:hehe:

The sun is shining although it is cold and windy so I'm going to hang some washing out then have a rummage in the garage to see what I can throw out as it is dustbin day next week:p

Its another wet day here and cool, although not as cold so far as yesturday.

kandy and peri, getting my contact lenses next saturday cant wait the optician straightened my glasses as best he could but he couldnt do anything with the little bit that rests on the nose as i superglued it hehe my nose is still a little sore but not as bad, ive worn contacts before so they should be fine.
nearly all my xmas shopping done going up to newcastle town centre with my friend next wednsday so just have a few bits to get and im done, spent a fortune these past few weeks.

Peri,I was just in the middle of doing a post on your Sparrowhawk thread when I lost it all when the computer decided to do some updates and the computer went off and when it came back i had lost it all again:(so Mr Kandy has changed the settings so it won't install them until I give it permission:D Sounds like you are going to be busy with the run up to xmas and I am sure you will love Leighton Moss especially if you see some OttersWe are spending time at the end of the month up in the area of Shiney's birthplace so are looking forward to staying in the grounds of Pemberly{Pride and Prejudice}again and having 1,000 acres to walk round:D Good Luck with getting the pc sorted:thumb:

Shiney forgot to say yesterday that you are doing well with your daffs with all their growth.I forgot to say we also have a Campanula in flower and also my bunny rabbits are still colourful

Morning Rosa nearly missed you there.If its an y consilation Mr Kandy sat on my glasses when I took them off and left them on the arm of the settee and I wasn't very happy I can tell you but Specsavers came to the rescue and sorted them out for me which was a relief.My spare set are sunglasses so i couldn't really walk round with them on now could I :D

Hope all goes well for you with your xmas dinner this weekend and i bet your Grandson will love all the prezzies you have got him this year:gnthb:
