    Good morning everyone,

Penny nice to hear about your snow.I would love to get some of the white stuff over xmas so we can get into the true spirit of the event but I expect as normal it will be mild and wet:p

Rosa, you do make me smile.£10 for the teeth work in Thailand but hundreds of pounds for the air fare there and back plus the price of me passport, and spending money. Thanks all the same but I think I shall stick with my NHS dentist it works out cheaper me thinks:D

Well,Mr Kandy heard from the garage about our car and there is more damage done to it than he first thought and we now have to have a new bumper fitted so he isn't getting the car back until the 16th,so the impact definetly did more damage than what was first thought. We just hope that the other drivers insurers pay up after all this, although it is nice having a brand new car to use while the work is being done:D

Well we had rain again yesterday, nothing new there so I spent the day indoors.Hope to see this heatwave by the end of the week:thumb:

Hope you all have a great day:)

    good morning everyone,
just been sending christmas e-cards to hubby in africa and sent him pics of our place all decorated,
kandy know what you mean but i guess its easier iff you go on holiday in thailand then get teeth done not worth paying all that out unless your off on your hols over there.
sorry to hear about mr kandys car having more damage hope all well when he gets it back they are certainly keeping it along time.
penny cant wait to see your snow pics wouldnt know how to put snow behind that candle pic
    have a great day all

    Good morning everyone,

It is a very calm, dry day so far and I hope it remains that way.

I'm still chasing my tail trying to see that all the people I look after are going to be OK whilst I'm away. We're also trying to remember all the things we might need whilst away - can't pop back for them :hehe:.

    Have a great day :D

    Morning everyone,

Shiney glad to see you are getting everything done ready for the off.:thumb: I forgot to ask how Angela is getting on now?

Penny I folow a blog of a lady living in Canada and last night saw the snow covering her garden. It looked so pretty,I only wish it was us having all that lovely snow:p They are forecasting cold weather for us next week so we might get some frosts or snow quiet soon:p

Rosa, lovely xmas photo. Our house looks quiet bare compared to yours as we only have cards up at the mo.If I put up my tree then the cats climb up into the branches because the doppy things think it is a real tree like the outside ones:D

You really need to go and see the d o c t o r about those problems as it is your bodies way of telling you things are not right.Don't leave it any longer...PLEASE

Anyway, all is wet again out there but I don't mind as I shall be busy indoors so won't worry about the weather.:D

    Have a good day everyone:luv:

    Good morning everyone,

Once again we have lovely sunshine. :yho:

Penny, I'm sure a lot of people on here are jealous about you having snow because this is the time of year we would like to see it. We all forget about the problems it can cause us when it has been around for a while :)

rosa, I can only back up what Kandy has said. I also think that you should go to the doc for a check up :luv:

Kandy, I'm not sure who Angela is  (maybe I'm having a senior moment :old:) but if you meant Vi then the news is bad. They have given her an absolute maximum of 6 months as her leukemia is back with a vengeance :(. She wants to be at home so we are working on how to arrange it.

I've ordered my foreign currency for my hols and I am now a multi-millionaire :hehe:. The Indonesian Rupee is 14,000 to the pound. I've got £400 worth which is over 4 million Rupees :yho:

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

Don't know what is wrong with this pc but sometimes when i press one of the keys to type a letter the letter doesn't show up:scratch: perhaps the pc is running out of ink or getting old like me:hehe:

Penny lovely snow photos,i do hope we get some of that very soon, like Christmas Eve onwards:DWe have fog here at the moment:(

Shiney,Wasn't Angela one of the wrinklies that goes with you on your Lakeland holiday walks and I seem to remember you saying some time back that she had fallen whilst on holiday in Switzerland and had hurt herself?

Sorry to hear about Vi,I never knew she has Leukemia, how sad for her and especially for Barry,I just don't know how he will cope when the time does come.It is so tragic:(

Does the currency you have cover you for all the countries you are visiting or is that just for one place o' great one who is now a Millionaire:ntwrth::D

Peri, glad to hear you enjoyed the Lakes. You need to go higher up next time and see the proper mountains and hills.Forget the going abroad, take time to explore this beautiful green and pleasant ,{plus wet}land of ours:D By the way,I go to the dentist on the 18th of this month to get the tooth fixed. They couldn't get me in any earlier as they are trying to fit everyone in before they break up for xmas:p

Rosa, hope your aches and pains are better now today.Perhaps you did something nasty when you were lugging Mr Rosa's xmas prezzie up those flights of stairs:oops: but you will never know if you don't go and get checked out and even Shiney{o' great one:ntwrth:} says the same:oops:

Anyway,I spent part of yesterday catching up on taking out the creases in our clothes{ironing} and then got up into the loft and started bringing down all the stuff we are taking with us.I'm getting queit excited now as it gets nearer:D

Hope you all have a great day now:)

Morning Rosa, didn't realsie I hadn't logged out.:oops:Just been getting my brekkie sorted and another mug of drink:DI've just weighed myself and I have lost 3lbs in weight:p,don't know where it has gone but i'm not complaining:hehe:

Lucky you if you have the snow,I shall be quiet envious if you have a white xmas and we don't although where we shall be we might get some on the hills:D

Sorry about your problem with NHS direct.I wuld go staright to the Dr if I was you and get in as an emergency. They have to have a certain amount of those appointments for patients. These leg and other pains have been playing you up for a number of years now Rosa,so you need to get them looked at ASAP.My inlaws are like you in a way Rosa, when my fil went to bed feeling unwell with chest pains one night he wouldn't let my mil fetch the Dr for four days and when the Dr did come he said staright away that my fil had had a heart attack:oops:.Anyone else would have pegged it before then without treatment but he seems to go on forever:p

    Good morning everyone,

Kandy, I never bother to log out of GC. When I have finished on here I just close that window.
Sorry, I didn't think about that Angela :dh:. She has recovered well from it but her pride and confidence were hit. I went to see Vi in hospital yesterday. She looked very frail but was quite quite cheerful. She is feeling a bit better as they have put her on some sort of drip and we were discussing, with the nurses, what she may need sorted out before she can go home.

My millionaire currency only covers me for Java, Bali and Komodo. We shall need Singapore dollars for Singapore :hehe: (where we start), US$ for the boat between the Islands and on to Australia (most boats work in US$) and then Australian dollars for travelling around OZ. I hope that I have calculated the right amount of currency for all the places  but I have Mr Plastic as well :). Less than a week to go :yho:

It's a bit dreary and chilly out there.

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

Not long now until the big day and I am so looking forward to spending quality time with Mr Kandy and we just want the snow to make the time together just perfect:thumb:

Shiney glad you know what you are doing with all that money.:DThere were some people on the telly last week saying that they had used their plastic abroad and when they got home and they recived their statements,an additional amount of money had been added per use of the card I think it was,but not too sure, for administration and they were not very happy about it:p

I do hope that all your friends are going to be ok while you are not here with us:)

Penny sorry about your snow if you don't like it and that -19 sounds a bit cold, brrrrr Love your smiley digging out the snow :gnthb: Did you get that link I sent you the other day?

Well our local Wyevale has some birds of prey in its store today so with a bit of luck we are ging over there with the cameras to see if we can get some photos. Will have to have a Google as they didn't put down on the posters what time they would be there:(

Hope you all have a great day:)
