Its snowing lightly here and its still cold~~

Off to do some more shopping in awhile, after my coffee.

 

Pleased you got your boiler fixed Kathy. You cant beat being all snuggly indoors when it is horrible and cold outside. 02

 

evening everyone, got my phone and broadband sorted today, it was the cable out in the back when the guys took the scaffolding down they disrupted all the bt cables and it affected mt broadband and phones, so a new cable has been put up and bt are sending the council a bill for the damage they did, i was that tired tonight i went to bed and my neighbours dog started barking and barking and woke me up at 11.30 tonight and kept barking till after 12 i was so mad i called the police and he gave me the number to call enviromental services so i left a message with the log number, he said thats not on getting woke up like that its not the first time this keeps going on im fed up with it.

Lovely photos of the snow Woo,we have the same here although it has only just started getting heavier in the last twenty minutes or so:yho:sorry for all those of you who hate the stuff but I do like to see everything looking white and lets face it Christmas is never the same unless you have snow,and I do like to see the little kiddywinkles and the grown up kiddywinkles enjoying themselves in it:D

Still feeling rough as per normal and still can't find my voice:p The receptionist at the dentists was really nice and said not to speak too much and said to get better and not to rebook the appointment until I was feeling a lot better. At least it will take the starin off of them at this busy time,but I will have to make sure that I keep my teeth really clean so I don't get an infection where the filling came out from:p

With luck Mr Kandy should be getting our car back either today or tomorrow after all the damage has now been completed{£1,000 worth} the garage was jsut waiting for a new tow bar as it was that that took the full force of the impact when the van hit him

Peri sorry to hear about your OH's travel plans going wrong with the weather.We seem to be the only country that grinds to a halt when there is a bit of snow,I am sure the Scandinavain countries don't have that problem and they have more snow than us:DHope your cold isn't getting you down too much:p

Anyway,we had quiet a bit of snow yesterday and everywhere is like a winter wonderland out there but it is really bitter and cold.We were so busy yesterday that we didn't even go for a walk to get photos:( I just took some of the garden which looks lovely with its blanket of snow:D

I am still full of this cold and only hope that it clears up by the end of next week:p

By the way,don't forget to put out plenty of seed,nuts and fatballs etc for all the birds out there.Luckily I did mine the day before we had the snow so at least I didn't have to go out into the garden yesterday but could admire them from the window and take some photos:thumb: Only thing I didn't do was put out some fresh water as their bird bath is now full of snow

We got our car back yesterday morning and the hire car was picked up at tea time so that is all out of the way now:D

its snowed on and off last night we havnt a great deal but expecting more to come.
i went up to the quarry nature reserve and got some pics very little snow and it was bitterly cold i couldnt wait to get out of there and get in the car and get home to warm up.
thanks all for liking the pics i took, nathan no ships and penny i live right by the coast we normally get teribble north easterly winds and the snow normally doesnt last very long.

Good morning everybody! Quite a few affected with the snow it seems.
I was in Devon for a couple of days for the office work party/dinner - stayed at a great place called Huntsham Lodge near Tiverton - a great old gothic style place with fantastic gardens. Driving home though - seemed that the snow belt hit on the return trip when we got into Hampshire but was nothing compared to what I found when I got home! Needless to say was a very cautious drive to get back to the house - where the kids were all merrily building snowmen and having snowball fights

I hope everyone keeps safe-my strapping son fell over with a crash bang wallop in front of his boss and a woman :hehe: He was mortified!
Hubby got back safely after a long airport run. He got in around 9pm safe and sound
