Peri glad that your oH got home safely and it looks like you are going to be spending lots of quality time with him over Christmas and the New Year:luv:

Well ,we had more snow last night when we went to bed but not the heavy lot that we should have had:(still any amount is better than nothing and when I asked Mr Kandy yesterday how much we have had already he said about four inches:p

I'm still full of this cold and it looks like it will be here for Christmas worse luck but there isn't a lot i can do about it:(We popped over tosee my friend to hand over and collect our prezzies from her but I said I wouldn't go inside as she has a bad heart problem and I don't want her Christmas ruining with me coughing and sneezing all over her:p

Anyway,the temperature here is -3 outside which is a tad cold so won't be going outside just yet

We have lamb for dinner today so looking forward to eating some of that:D

i looked out the window today and everyone was walking on the roads as the paths were so slippy with lots of ice on them, we are expecting more snow before christmas eve.

Nice to hear you have snow again.Our cars were frozen solid again and the roads are still pretty well iced up and all the grit boxes are empty as they were never filled after the last lot of snow at the start of the year:(

Peri,I am usually an early bird epsecially in the summer months when I am up wiuth the Lark but this time of the year I struggle to wake up.I think you are an Owl whereas I am the Lark.:DHow do you manage to stay awake until the early hours?:D

We had a nice surprise yesterday lunchtime.As I was dishing up the dinner I happened to glance down the garden and there sitting on the fence was a male Bullfinch:yho:We rushed to get our cameras but by the time I got the batteries in mine Mr Kandy got the best spot in the conservatory so his photos are better than mine plus the house warmth hit the cold in there and steamed up the glass in the windows:(We also had a Snipe fly over Saturday as we walked round the woodland part of the village:gnthb:

morning kandy, happy holidays is an american saying, the snow really came down before its eased off a little now and the sun is getting out so looks like we are getting two types of weather.

Its currently -6 here and snowing a little bit.

I have to finish my wrapping today and do some houswork.

I have been in town all day, it was crowded! It was a lovely atmosphere though with musicians on the pavements. the lovely ice sculptures, trees all lit up and the carousel which all made for a wonderful Christmassy atmosphere.
Hubby went off out for a works reunion meal and pub [could be a late one then :hehe:]

I need a sit down and maybe a glass of something if anyone is around later to share it with me!
