    Good morning everyone,

    Its mild and damp here, kind of feels like the calm before the storm.

    I plan on taking down the tree and putting it outside for pick up next week.

    We had a FANTASTIC time in the hotel. It surpassed my expectations and everyone was so friendly. I would love to do it again next year!
    I hope you all had a fantastic time too :)

    Woo, I am repeating after you..."Today is the first day of my life etc..." Will think those words tomorrow. Please think of me as I am scared I must admit :(

    Wow...what a difference a day makes, its cold here and snowing and calling for squalls off the Bay later today.

    I have some cleaning to do and some company after lunch coming over.

    Wow - what a wonderful week it has been. Starting off looking like a winter wonderland, but the weather and the roads clearing just in time for Christmas travel for those needing to get out and about - well, down this way anyway!
    I hope everybody has had a wonderful Christmas and is planning wisely so that they have a safe and healthy new years.
    Had a great Christmas day with all the kids and some friends later in the day - noise? lol - next year I think I might buy ear plugs! But hey - doesn't hurt to hear raucous laughter from a bunch of kids - does the heart good :) Boxing Day we had neighbours over for goodies, dinner and an evening of Wii entertainment - loads of fun :)
    Penny - they had never had nanaimo bars before - and loved them, along with other homemade goodies of peanut brittle, rocky road, tv roll, butter tarts, whipped shortbread, macaroons, sugar cookies, gingerbread etc., spiced apple cider etc. - delish :)

    Hope everybody else is also enjoying spending time with family and friends - where would we be without them?

    Jazmine - best of luck for tomorrow my dear friend - will be thinking 'bout you!

    Good morning everyone I hope that you are all OK and well,Its another cracking day for us all,and guess what there,s approximately 365 of these little beauties every year,so if and only if we get the occasional off day that means there is at least 350 good ones everyone have a good and safe day :)
