    Morning friends :luv:
Aww Rosa, cramp is just awful-have a little nap today to make up for lack of sleep :)

Natalie thanks for the invite :luv: we will have to take the train to London, tube to Eurostar so will have a day of travelling almost but it will be worth it. Hubby is slowly coming round to the idea. :hehe: I usually just book all our excursions then tell him!!

Hel, it's lovely to see you pop in, watch your face when handling the chilli!

Shiney I will friend! :thumb: Shame it took a health wake up call to motivate me :old:
Glad you enjoyed your time at the bar :hehe: Hope you didn't have far to get home!

Well I am off to slimming club [struggling at the moment] then meeting my friend for coffee and muffin so a pleasant day ahead. Enjoy your busy days everyone :)

    Good afternoon everyone,

Sorry I am a bit late getting on here today, had to go out on an errand this morning and when I got back I went straight down to the greenhouse to see how Mable was getting on only to find all the fruit, veg and grass I gave her this morning was still there and she had only eaten a little bit which she snatched out of my hand, which is what she normally does.Anyway, she was a bit listless so rang the vets and they said to take her in for 2.50pm so I got there for 2.40pm so that I could get parked and then had to wait another 30 minutes before I got seen.Anyway the vet examined and weighed her and she had lost more weight so listened to her breathing and then got ready two philes of Antibiotics and Painkiller/Antiinflamortory ready which she stuck into the back of her neck and said to pick up some more antibiotic fluid from reception.I paid for her treatment and medication and drove home.As I got the carrier box out of the car,I noticed that she had snuggled down into the hay that I had put in the box for her,so carried her back round to the greenhouse. On opening the box and moving the hay,I noticed that she wasn't moving.I quickly lifted her out of the box and felt the last bit of heat pass out of her body:euw: .So that is it little Mabel has gone to join Punky and Coco her sisters and she is at peace and I am glad that I rescued her and Punky and was able to give them both a couple of years better life than they had known from their previous two owners:( I had better go now as I need to go and get her buried before the heavy rain starts. RIP Mabelxxxxxxxxxx

Kandy I am sooo sorry to hear that. We do become attached to our pets, I cried when every one of our gerbils and hamsters died and buried them all in the garden under the tree.

good morning penny, kandy, peri, shiney, jazmine, helen, woo, natalie and everyone.
arghhhh kandy so sorry to hear of mabel passing how awful for you big hugs from me to, RIP mabel xxxx.
peri my hubby is off malabo in west africa i think its west hes off-shore on a rig they were waiting for another 4 years contract to be sighned and its done so they all have their jobs still it should take him right up till he retires.
its a shame hes away for xmas and new year i told him i would do another xmas dinner when he gets back after 6th january so i will be having 2 xmas dinners hehe will leave all the xmas things up tree etc although i will send him pics over the holidays to his pc just aswell hes got one over there in the office.
the xmas doorebell ive not played it yet so dont know the tunes im thinking its not worth putting it on my front door so will put it on the inner door of my hall when family arrive will open my front door and they will see the bell guess my grandson will have more access to it hehe.
when hubby gets back going up to tj hughes in newcastle need to get some new make up elizabeth arden and thats the only place i can get it and also going to get the rest of my xmas shopping as they sell lovely perfume packs.
my daughter bought a new xmas tree last year a green 6ft one with all the cream decorations and lights with it from argos so ive taken hers and going to buy her a black one so just waiting for B&M bargains to get there trees in and getting her that cant wait to put it up she said it looks lovely up but she wants a black one so it saved me looking around for a tree for myself, my other one was a disaster kept falling over so decided a new one would be better, my daughter just bought it last year.
jazmine my back plays up most mornings then goes off when i get up and also i get cramp every so often, when my hubby comes home hes always gets bad cramp in his legs im sure its with all that sitting in a plane for hours, hes will just have arrived into malabo about now. one night he fell asleep on sofa and i heard an awful shouting and he woke up with bad cramp and kicked my lovely lamp off the coffee table it was ok wonder it didnt smash hehe.
helen im pretty used to my back playing up now had it for years it was due to a bad water ski-ing accident i had years ago my doctor said they wouldnt dare operate on my lower back as i could end up in a wheel chair so i have to live with it, pleased to hear your getting all your hallowen things i bought a few things yesterday a little witch i put the halloween things up hehe its a bit early but no one will see them took pics but wont put them up till near halloween.
hope everyone has a great day

Kandy, I'm so sorry to hear about Mabel. At least she had a couple of really good years being loved by you.

The rain has stopped today but the garden really liked what we got. The farmers around must be a bit less worried than they were :thumb:

    Have a great day :D

Good morning Rosa Shiney and everyone,

Up late again this morning,my body has decided it needs more sleep:snz: so who am i to complain:D

Many thanks to you all for your kind words over the loss of Mabel and thanks to the Pm's as well, much appreciated:luv: I have buried her in the same place as Punky although slighty to the right and they are together up against the garage wall behind a conifer so apart from putting in a few bulbs later on they won't be disturbed. Our garden will soon ahve to be renamed Pet Cemetary as we already have a rabbit and our elderly cat{21 1/2} laid to rest since we moved here:pI have been and cleaned out her cage and we are going to give away her outside run as it is no good to us now.The greenhouse will need a good clear out so that I can get some of the plants that have had the summer outside put back in there in the spot where Mabel cage was:)

I text'd the young vetanary nurse who had looked after her while we were away and she was sad as well and then rung me up five minutes later asking me if I wanted two of hers to replace Mabel.I declined as I said to her that we have enough now with the three cats and Aqarium fish without taking on even more:) When we take the cats[If I can catch them that is} to the vets on Thursday for their boosters I have been told I can take back the medicine for a refund as I didn't get a chance to even use it.Even Mr K was upset when he got home and I told him what had happened.:(

Anyway, sounds like we are all busy at the moment. The sun has now come out so hopefully all my washing plus the garden will dry out a bit.The snails were out in force last night, eek and when we went for a walk round the village our Poppy decided to follow us which she hasn't done for a couple of years:D

Hope everyone has a good day:luv:

Morning Rosa, Shiney, Kandy & all.

Totally agree with Shiney about Mabel she was very lucky to find you Kandy & she must had died knowing she was loved very much indeed.:luv:

Kandy that was very sweet of the vet to offer you another piggy but as you say you have enough on your hands.

Jazmine whats you deadly sin in the food department? mine was chocolate up until a few months ago I have managed to pull the plug on that & don't miss it at all.

Kathy I'm an open book honey nothing is too personal...yet!:D

Our baby boys are 21 & 25, the eldest has done uni & is now working & the 'little one' is on yet another full time course at college he's totolly hooked on learning but strangly not uni! Both are still at home with no plans to move in the near or distant future.

Being a mum is the best job in the world (at least for me) it just breaks my heart when people want the chance to be one but can't & those that can so easy have children do such a bad job bringing them up.

Lol Kathy about the Halloween decorations each year I get a little before the day then go mad looking for the sale items on the day or day after for the following year!:gnthb:

Oh penny snow at the week-end makes you think of Christmas!

Well I managed to order some Glow sticks so thats all the kids stuff done for halloween just got to get me a pirate hat...lol I'll do anything to make the little'uns laugh!:yho:

    Have a nice day guys.Hel.xxx.

    Good morning everyone,

Its cold and rainy here again today.

I made a big pot of soup that i have simmering away on the stove, good day for it for sure.
It kind of will make me think of Christmas Hel, i am starting my christmas shopping next week too and start putting stuff away.
We did the big ticket items for the girls last year, so it should be a little cheaper this year ( I hope).

    Good monring everyone,

Just a quick visit again to say Thanks again for all your kind words over Mabels passing.I spent part of yesterday cleaning out the greenhouse where her cage had stood and have got her cage washed and disinfected and then dried ready to be got rid of.Spent the rest of the day getting some of the apples that Mr K dropped and bruised prepared ready for freezing.By the time I have finished this years crop,I probably won't want to see another apple again:D

When we came back from our evening walk last night we noticed uggy{adopted cat}looking at something on the drive and when I went over to see what it was,and found that it was Fred/Freda our resident hedgehog:DI managed to pick it up and put it on top of the recycling bin and managed to get a photo of it before it rolled off the top:oops::p.Anyway it is nice to see it is getting large ready for hibernation:D

Well I had better get back to the kitchen as I still have more to do and then when we go over to the allotment at the weekend,no doubt there will be even more to bring home:p

Hope everyone has a good day :luv:

good morning everyone, up early this morning again back playing up again guess i will never get rid of this, yes peri it was due to my water ski-ing accident i had in my 20s i used to ski jump and when i was going up the ramp and over i hit my back on top of the ramp funnily enough i still was ski-ing after and felt ok for all them years till this past 14 years, its like a bad ache at the bottom of my spine and at times i get pains down my legs and had hip problems in the past a few years ago i couldnt walk with all the pain i was in agony but thats eased off i only hope that never comes back it was just awful.
i get my make up at newcastle its only 30 mins in the train so thats not bad i dont take the car as its teribble to park up there, i will also get other pressies while im up there.
it looks dry out there this morning, have a great day all
