    Good morning everyone,

It is another sunny morning here :thumb:

My anti-virus programme doesn't seem to have worked all that well as I have now caught Kandy's cold :(:hehe:. I think I may do the male thing of feeling sorry for myself and asking for sympathy. :lollol:

We have some cowslips and primulas in bloom but most of them are still to come. Some of the pulmonaria have been flowering for a few weeks but the others are slow. On my stroll round the garden yesterday I counted over 200 stems of hellebores in bloom. Mrs shiney has started splitting some of our 5,000 + snowdrops and Oscar has been helping her. The daffs are still only in bud but it looks as though there will be a good show this year. The aqualegia are about three weeks behind this year but should have caught up enough for the open day and the forget-me-nots will probably still be in flower then. Most years we have already pulled them up by open day.

    Have a great day :D

    Good morning Woo and everyone,

Woo we have a lovely sunrise this morning but I don't have the energy to go and stand out in the cold to take photos so hopefully you will have got some good ones:thmb: Thanks also for the good wishes:luv:

Jazmine and Shiney, sorry to hear you are both full of it as well.My nose just wouldn't stop running yesterday and everytime I sneezed I nearly blew the roof off of the house it was that loud:DAt one point last night poor Willow jumped into the air as I frightened him to death:rotfl:

Shiney, doesn't Sainsbury's do 24 hour shopping for you to be visiting Tseco's where all us peasants go to?:flag::D

Managed to get outside in the back garden yesterday as it was sunny but later on it clouded over so had to come back indoors:pWe sat down to watch Mrs Brown on the telly and I managed all of ten minutes of it but the next thing i knew it was time for bed:p

We are up early this morning as the Australian Grand Prix starts soon and Mr Kandy is a Grand Prix follower:ywn: :D

Hope you get on ok Jazmine at the dentist next week but you might be better cancelling it if if you have a cold as you don't want to sneeze at the wrong moment when he has the drill on your tooth:p

Anyway, time for brekkie as I am feeling quiet hungry and then I have a piece of beef to cook at some point this morning.

Hope you all have a good one.:)

Good morning woo, Kandy and everyone,

Kandy, Sainsburys round here isn't 24 hrs and I occasionally enjoy mixing with the peasants in Tesco :hehe: :flag:- but I don't really like Tesco. I usually find their quality of fresh food and meat is not as good and there is virtually no difference in price. Also, I don't like the lighting in Tesco. I sometimes even go to Waitrose to see how the posh people do their shopping. :lollol:

Jazmine, I wish you better :)

It is sunny out there but looks a bit breezy. I'll try and get a little bit of work done before I go off to my tournament later on.

    Have a great day :D

    Morning Shiney,

We have just been for our early morning walk and have just got back home.

We only go to the peasants supermarket as for us it is easier to get to for us rather than driving through the town.It doesn't seem to matter where we buy our fresh fruit and veggies from apart from Waitrose it all starts to go off as you soon as you get it home.:(I expect a lot of it has been in cold storage for so long and has had to travel x number of miles across the world to get to the shops that as soon as it it's the warmth of the shop it soon starts to go off, plus half the young lads that work in the supoermarkets just chuck the stuff about which doesn't help. Even the stuff from the farm shops are not much better at this time of the year:p

This is one reason we grow a lot of our own stuff but as yet have mastered the art of growing bananas, oranges, etc on the allotment:p

    Good luck with the tournament:thmb::luv:

    Good morning everyone,

Up early this morning ,seems like my sleep patterns are all over the place at the moment:ywn::snz::D Still it gives me time to catch up with friends through emails so had better go and get started on them soon:p

Looks like we are due for rain all this week,I thought it would as Mr Kandy is at home and I think the kiddie winkles break up as well this week as well so at least there will be less traffic on the road:D

Mr Kandy is going to have his silence broken as well with the noise from the builders machinery so at least now he will see what I have to put up with every day:p

Hope you all have a great day and you either don't get flooded out or up to your necks in the eight inches of snow that has been forecast for some parts of the country:oops:

    Good morning everyone,

It is a damp, dull, dreary, drizzly, depressingly alliterative day :(. But am I boverred? :hehe:

The plants in the garden are loving it so I can't complain - much! :)

I'm off to another funeral today so am not looking forward to it :(.

Oscar will probably spend all day asleep in his warm house in the greenhouse. k-l

    Have a great day :D

Hi all, not quite morning for me and sorry I've not popped on for a long while!

I'm having insomnia problems again (had it since I was a wee baby and it comes and goes as it pleases), so my sleeping patterns are all over the place right now! Busy day for me today, appointment in town followed by meeting a lovely freecycler giving away some pots for the garden. I'm going to loo a right 'nana walking about town and sitting on the bus with so many pots tehehehe.

Something that I have meant to post about a few times but always forgotten.. What time do the birds start chirping their morning chorus in your areas? For me, it's always been the "usual" wherever I lived. Between an hour and 30 minutes before sunrise they'd go at it, sounding beautiful. Up here in Scotland though it is a whole different story! For over a month the birds have been singing us to sleep at about 2am and stopping at about 4am. They usually take it up just before dawn like normal birds, rinse and repeat, it really through me for quite some time and I still can't work out why.

Had a lovely surprise this morning, woke up to find the herbs on the windowsill have burst into life after a good water last night. From nothing to an inch tall over night - how wonderful =D

Managed to find someone to borrow a spade from sometime this week, which will be grand.. not only will I get some work done in the garden, I'll be doing it in snow apparently! A few inches forecast over Tuesday and Wednesday, with heavy rain and sleet for the rest of the week, fabulous!

Hope everyone is well and enjoys their day x
