    Good morning Steve and Peri,

 I forgot to log out this morning when I had finished on here:Dmust have been because I was still asleep:ywn::snz::D

Steve,I have boxed up my shallots and onions for quiet a number of years now as I got fed up with the birds pulling them out of the ground,so this way they have a nice root system on them and the tops have started to sprout ready for when they go out.:)

Peri, the nurse was pleased with my weight loss and said not to worry about not losing each week.I am on Meds now and have to go back for another blood test in ten weeks time.It should be twelve weeks but two weeks have already gone past since the last one.I now get all my scripts free so for the first time in my life,{apart from dental work I had done before I was of age} I am actually getting something for nothing although having said that I paid in enough to the NHS over the 32 years I worked so it is about time I got something back:D

Hope you have a good weekend with your oh when he gets back home tonight.I am out babysitting the three youngsters tonight, boy, girl and Oscar the puppy so that should be fun:D

Hope you have a good day:)

    Good morning everyone,

It is misty and frosty this morning so I'm pleased I got a lot of the pressure hosing done :thumb:.

Just off out to buy 30 loaves of bread for the quiz tonight. This afternoon we shall be going to the hall to set up the tables and chairs, sound and projector systems and preparing the food. At the moment I don't really feel much like doing it as I have been up all night with bad cramp in both legs :(. Actually, that is slightly incorrect. I went to bed at 3 a.m. and the cramp got me at 4 a.m. so I was in bed for an hour :hehe:.

    Have a great day :D

Hey Penny - hope the snow storm coming up by Washington DC is not going to turn in on you - and you are well away from it.

Just thought I'd pop and say goodnight to everybody instead of good morning - off to snuggle with hubby and have a lovely sleep in in the morning before a day's work out in the garden.

Have a great Sunday everybody :)

    Morning Woo and everyone,

Woo hope you enjoy your walk, nothing is better than a nice walk in the fresh air to clear ones head and to blow away those cobwebs.:DMr Kandy and myself go for a walk every evening round our village and it is nice to see all the stars twinkling in the sky and we usually spend that time chatting about that days events, then once we are home, work issues for Mr Kandy and his work mates are not talked about any more.:pLast night was a bit misty when we did our walk and it was so quiet and peaceful which was very nice, although most nights are like that:)

I got up this morning at 6.55am and it was lovely to see the daylight starting to creep into the sky,now I know that Spring and then summer are on their way:gnthb:

Shiney hope your quiz night went off ok and that you all enjoyed yourself. Was it a mixture of young and old folk or were they all wrinklies:D

Anyway,I've just been and made my cinnaom porridge with starwberries and grapes on top and then later on after our walk I have a nice piece of lamb to cook.:)

Hope you all have a great day:)

    Good afternoon everyone,

Woo, 18 french sticks (white) we cut into chunks and 12 loaves brown multi-seed (uncut) also cut into chunks (cut the loaves once lengthwise then once, again, lengthwise but at 90 degrees to other cut. The four long sections were then cut into chunks.)

Kandy, mainly wrinklies with about 25% between 25 and 40 :D.

15 teams, 8 to a team, so quite a bit of food to prepare. My team got 2nd prize :gnthb:. Haven't yet calculate how much will go to charity. :hehe:

    Have a great evening :D

    Good morning Woo and everyone.

Hope you all had a good weekend, pity it flew past so fast:p

Woo,hope you wrap up well when you go for your early morning walk.We was supposed to go out for one yesterday afternooon but the meds I am on decided to give me unpleasant side effects so we had to cut things a bit short so to speak:(Feel a lot better today though so will see how it goes:)

Shiney, forgot to say about your cramp in your legs and hope that the pain eases.I know myself how unpleasant cramp can be and the ache usually lasts a couple of days after the cramp has worn off:p

Weighed myself this morning and have lost 2.5lbs so I am happy again but I expect it is the meds that are helping.Mr Kandy has put on a lb when he weighed himself the other day so I have told him to stop scoffing so may sweets and crisps straight after he has finished his evening meal but he never listens:D

It is damp out there this morning so won't be doing much outside although I do have twenty four bags of lawns clippings that my friend gave me last Saturday for composting but as the bags are so heavy need to split them before they go over the allotment. At least mixed in with our other stuff it will give us more compost for the allotment:D

Booked this years Holiday on line yesterday so it saves the hassle of ringing them up to book it so roll on the summer so we can explore new areas of the country:D

Hope you all have a great day in all that you do:)

    Good morning everyone,

It is snowing out there - the first we've seen. We may go for a walk to the village as there doesn't seem to be any wind and we shall wrap up warm :). On the other hand, we may just stay cosy indoors in the warm :hehe:

Kandy, how much weight have you lost altogether? The cramp in one of my legs has gone completely but the other one is still a bit of a nuisance :(. Where are you going for your holiday? We have booked the Lakes again in June and September :yho:

Woo, I hope you and the girls had a good walk this morning :thumb: :)

    Have a great day :D

    Hi Shiney,

My left calf aches when we go for our walks and since last Friday when I was babysitting for my village friend and sat on her leather setee my Sciatica has been giving me jip,but I still keep walking and not sitting about too much,it will clear up eventually.:p

I have lost 16.5 lbs {see my signature} since Nov09 four of which was over xmas so that was one reason why I was suspicious that something was up.These Metformin have a nasty sting attached to them but have to keep going with it if I want to control my glucose levels. On the Diabetes UK Forum thye all talk about low carb diets but other experts on the net say that low carbs can be a bad thing so I am trying to control the sugar levels by eating a sensible diet and the nurse said if I crave chocolate to melt a square of Green and Blacks 70% on my tongue to get my fix. There is also a petition on there for people to sign because they say that the NHS advice they are giving out to Type 2's is wrong but as I am no expert on the subject can only go by what I am told.:p Evidently it is better for the Dr's to dish out loads of meds to us as they get a slice from the Pharmacutical{spelling} companies for bying their products:scratch:

We are having a week in the summer down at Torbay and then are off over to Snowdonia National Park area for our main September holiday where we shall celebrate our 30th:)

It is snowing here as well so I won't be able to do those bags now:hehe:, will do irioning instead:D

Have a nice day in the warm:luv:
