    Hi Woo and Shiney,

Hope you are ok Woo and getting some decent flying weather down your way:gnthb:

Shiney,Mr Kandy started to get the photos on the computer and a load of writing almost like chinese writing came up at the side where it usually puts up the date and file info so he fiddled something and got the photos to download and then cleared all the photos that he said was on the card, which is what formatting is with the Fuji cameras, but when I sat and looked at the photos all I could see were from May 6th onwards,so all the photos of my spring flowers, building work next door,my friend,Red Kites up at Fineshade Woods all look like they have been deleted forever.I was filling the card up a bit so didn't keep having lots of small amounts of photos on the computer and then Mr Kandy downloads them onto my external hard drive in case the computer goes wrong.Every time he tried using the recovery programme that we bought last year when we had problems on our old computer due to the dodgy card reader it comes up with a message that it can't find any dater:(I am not going to use that card in case new technology comes out in the future that might help me get the photo's back.

We visted a new garden centre yesterday and had a meal out of roast pork with all the trimmings,a bottle of orange juice each and no dessert and that cost nearly £20:(,one reason why we don't don't it that often but all the garden centres round our way are full of wrinklies eating out on a Sunday:DMr Kandy has been trying to pay extra towards his penson as he couldn't afford one until he was nearly forty and had to join the works one he went to so it gives us less each month to live on and when my mum passed away, and the money was paid back to the company that promised the earth with those schemes where wrinklies over the age of seventy get a lump sum of money and live a comfortable life{one big con} there wasn't a lot left so as we say what you never have had you don't miss and we plod on as usual and can at least say what we have got we have worked bxxxxy hard for so are proud of that epsecially when it will finally be ours in a few years time even if we will be proeprty rich{ish} though cash poor:pBut we are reasonably healthy and not on the poverty line yet so as long as we have fresh air to breath and can give to charity when we can afford it we don't ask for much in life:D

Enjoy this beautifull day we are having:)

Hi Natilie, you posted while I was typing.:)

It is a physiotherapist that does the work, not a Dr.I have exercises to do for my neck where the problem is coming from and she showed me what to do for the pins and needles down my arm.I then have to go back for another assessment to see if this is all helping. It is annoying as I need to get on with the gardening and allotment as the time is flying and will soon have the summer on top of us:(Our neighbour will be doing a BBQ if the sun still shines for lunch but we are not keen on cremated food so are hoping that we eat inside instead in the warm:p

Hello Penny, Paladin, Kandy, Natalie, Rosa, Woo, Jazmine et al

Penny, I feel your pain but please keep your snow to yourself. We've already had the Icelanders dumping their volcanic ash in our airspace :lollol:. No Shiney, I wasn't drunk ... although I'm now walking around looking as though I've had a particularly eventful night in a rough boozer. I've been to the 'World Garden' at Lullingstone, Natalie. I thought it was one of those good ideas which hadn't quite come off ... but maybe I caught it on a bad day. I like the village - spent a happy day watching birds of prey at Eagle Heights just down the road from the castle last summer.

We've spent most of the day trying to deliver a package to a postcode the satnav couldn't cope with. So we toured most of the Ashdown Forest, which looked very pretty indeed. Eventually inspiration struck  and we asked an actual human being if they knew the way and guess what? They did! AND they didn't send us via Aberdeen.

Good morning to Woo and to all. How is the weather in Ontario, Penny? Dull and miserable here in Kent. And I have a dull day's work in front of me :(

Good morning everyone from a beautifully sunny Shineyland :thumb:

I'm feeling a little better today but shall try not to overdo things :). The match yesterday went very well and we beat Cambs and Hunts convincingly :yho:and, as captain of our county team, I seemed to get most of the kudos :hehe:.

I didn't get around to doing my tax return the other day so shall do it today :(.
I also have an AGM on Wednesday evening and have to prepare my chairman's report (not too difficult) but, as both the Treasurer and Secretary can't make it I'm going to have to do their reports as well .

I'm still organising my winter travels which shall end up in Florida where we shall be visiting friends and relations. I was a bit concerned about having to apply for an ESTA (the easy, online, version of the Visa Waiver Form) because we have already arranged some of our visit in the U.S. but it was a doddle and only took about two minutes. It doesn't cost anything but I understand that the U.S. may start charging for it later this year. So, if any of you are thinknig of going over there it may be best to get your ESTA now - it lasts for two years.

Keep well and have a great day :D

Good morning everyone, from a very sunny Kandyland:)

Had a brilliant lunch out yesterday with our neighbours, although I was naughty and had a very nice piece of cheese cake to round off the starters and main course so will have to be good now for the rest of the week.:hehe:It must be nice being married to a chef but the problem for me would be putting on too much weight with all the lovely cooked food they make:pWe were round there over five hours, the time just flew but we all had an enjoyable time and they loved the wine and roses we gave them:D

As there is too much noise going on next door with the builders I am going over to the allotment while the weather is decent and see what I can do over there especially as I want to keep mobile:p

Hope you all have a great day especially if you are stuck indoors:hehe:

    Good morning everyone,

Sunny here again this morning which is nice but Mr Kandy says it will change later so we will see.Went over to the allotment yesterday and our spuds are showing through the soil so have earthed them up a bit more as we are still having frosts. We also have a runner bean growing on top of one of the rows so will have to transplant it when Mr Kandy eventually puts up the canes.:p

Paid for it later on though as my neck and shoulder was sore for the rest of the day so will have to take it a bit eaier today.:D

Hope everyone has a good day:)

    Good morning Kandy and everyone,

Brilliant sunshine out there but there was a light frost earlier on.

Some of the plants are now starting to perk up, the forget-me-nots have gone mad and the tree peony is just starting to bloom. Some of the lilac trees are in flower whilst others haven't started yet and the laburnums are just beginning to show some colour.

I was mowing in our wilder area amongst the fruit trees yesterday and there was a wonderful aroma of apple blossom. :)

By the time I had finished the mowing my back was starting to seize up :( becaue of the strenuous work needed to mow around all the wild flowers blooming there. By late last night I could hardly get out of my chair but I am managing to get around OK now - it's just getting in and out of chairs that is a problem. A bit of gardening this morning should ease it up (I hope) :thumb:. I've got to go out there and pick rhubarb for my regular Tuesday customers.

Kandy, I wish you lots better :gnthb:. At least you have been able to get over to the allotment :)

    Have a great day :D

    Hello Kandy, Shiney and everyone

Sorry to hear you're both feeling a bit groggy, Kandy and Shiney.

It's sunny but chilly here in Kent. The cat is my barometer - if the sun isn't strong enough to warm up the garden seat, he stays in. And as far as he's concerned, today is definitely an indoor day.

I have received some very interesting looking packages from mail order nurseries, but I think I may wait a bit before doing any serious gardening. I must admit I'm a bit of a wimpy fair weather gardener. :o
