Good Morning Woo and everybody on line :thumb:
I was surprised to see frost on the car when I looked out of the window. Hope it doesn't spoil the blossom on
    my Victoria Plum tree.

We have a large garden at our new abode although it is mostly lawn with some lovely borders. When we are settled in
then maybe we will use a small plot behind the garage for a few vegetables.

Woohoo! The sun is just shining through the window - hope it's going to be a nice day for everyone.

    Good morning everyone,

Lovelysunrise Woo,I have overslept this morning so our sunrise isn't as good as yours so wil enjoy yours instead.:thmb:My neck and shoulder are a lot better now I have had the physio work done, plus using my heat pad although i still have the pins and needles at times but I think it will heal slowly. Thanks for asking:luv:

Lovely bungalow and garden JJordie,Your bungalow looks practically identical to the one where we used to live although the garden was only 60ft long so not as big as yours.Hope you and your hubby have many happy years there together and do keep us posted as to how you get on with the veggie plot:gnthb:

Shiney,I went over to the allotment for the first time sine I had my eyes photographed the other week but luckily the weeds are not growing fast yet because of the cool weather.Hope you are feeling better as well.:luv:Our grass wants cutting but it will have to wait a few days until the weekend as it has been raining here last night:p

Well we went for our usual evening walk last night and when we got back home, went round to the back garden to see all the new flowers that have opened and while I tok some photos Mr Kandy went back indoors. As I was walking past our car I noticed something wrong with it and on closer inspaection saw that someone has grazed the front of it with their van/car so as well as some patches of paint missing, there is a big scuff mark on the paint work:(Mr Kandy was not happy at all when I got him to have a look at it in fact he was quiet  so that is more work to have to pay out for:(

Hope you all have a lovely day in all that you do:)

    Hello everyone

Big roomy garden, jjordie, I'm jealous!

My mum feeds the foxes in her garden every night, Woo. Well, it started off being ONE fox, but now word has got around that there's a free restaurant just up the road with a very attentive waitress.

Kandy, what a nuisance about your car. Not a good end to the evening. The same thing happened to us recently. Fortunately the perpetrator of the damage turned out to be the headmaster of a Church of England school - so he felt honour bound to leave a note and own up!

    Have a good day everyone.

Hello Kandy, Woo, Shiney, Jazmine and Penny and everyone. I hope you are all well.

It looks an OK, if a little chilly, day out there but the cat has still insisted that the fire be put on this morning :D. He walks over to it and complains loudly until one of the servants does his or her job. Recently he has also decided that we have to hold the door open for him and announce him when he comes into the room. I think he may have delusions of grandeur.

I hope the car damage doesn't turn up too expensive, Kandy. Hope the eye photos are OK, Jazmine.

Hopefully I'll post some photos later this season, but at the moment my garden is looking pretty sorry for itself, Kandy, as I am digging a lot of it up and starting again. It's a little town garden and it can quickly end up looking a mess - especiallly if the gardener is the impatient kind who tries to cram too many unsuitable things into it. Now that I'm digging out, the bare fences in particular look terrible. But I've just received a lovely package from the RHS nursery. It's the clematis 'Etoile Violette' which I remember from a lovely holiday in Devon, where it grew over the walls of a cottage. It has masses of deep purple flowers and it blooms in late summer, when a lot of things are over and done with. I just have to try to keep the wretched bindweed, which spreads from next door no matter what I do, from strangling it!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Good morning everyone,

It is another chilly but sunny day today. :)

I never did get around to picking the rhubarb on Tuesday as my back wasn't up to it - and I had to spend most of the morning dealing with important emails (boring). After getting that sorted out I had lunch to cook for friends that were visiting. Tuesday is when I run my afternoon bridge club so that kept me busy until the evening.

I missed being on here yesterday as I had reports to write, and prizes to sort out for the AGM of my Wednesday night bridge club and during the day I was helping Mrs shiney who was running her U3A annual plant sale.

Today I need to get more mowing done and trim about 1,000 ft of lawn edge, do some pruning, go shopping, get my new lenses put into my glasses (they've been ready for months but I haven't had time to go into town for them), - and I've just checked and another 17 emails have come in whilst I've been typing this :(.

jjordie, congratulations on your move :thmb:. That's a nice looking bungalow and the garden appears to be a big blank canvas that I'm sure you will enjoy turning into a colourful wonderland. :gnthb:

Keep well all of you :) and have a great day :D

    Good morning everyone,

Lovely sunny morning out there this morning so hopefully I will be able to get some of my plants outside, although when I went over to the allotment yesterday my spuds have been frosted even though I earthed them up the other day, they carried on coming through so the tops have gone all brown:(Had a lovely surprise though yesterday when i got home,my lovely neighbours had had some flowers delivered for looking after their dog Monty when they are out at work. Here is a photo of them plus one of the damage done to our car when some kind soul decided to scrape it:mad:

Clara, you sound like your alter ego NatilieB she doesn't like to put up photo's of her garden and plants:thmb:

Hope you all have a good day:)

    Hello everyone

Lovely flowers, Kandy, hope they cheered you up after the damage to your car :(. I'm not sure the patches of boring brown earth would be very photogenic, Kandy, although I suppose it might give other gardeners a good old laugh! I'm still trying to master photobucket, and I can feel a better camera coming on ... my little point-and-shoot effort isn't much good for arty flower shots.

Have a good day, everyone. It looks like it may be a little better than wintry stuff we've had recently.:thmb:

    Good morning all :luv:

I was out yesterday and haven't been on the computer much so I apologise if I have missed anything!
The flowers are lovely Kandy. I usually have to buy my own

Hopefully it will get warmer next week and I just got back from Homebase with a few flowers to get planting. I seem to be behind but am hoping to stock up at Shineys. :D
